Lovely canal side pub with a lovely garden and play area. Food menu offers a good variety at moderate prices always well presented nicely sized portions. Good selection of beers wines and spirits together with very pleasant staff. There is occasionally entertainment but it's more aimed towards dining. Very nice garden area is always really nice with plenty of seating.

I like this pub. It has interesting surroundings, has plenty of choices of drinks and serves food. I have had food here in the past and the quality is OK... I have been to better but I have also been to a lot worse. Would I return? Yes, absolutely especially if it was a nice sunny day.

What a cracking place. The food is the best pub food we've had. Very professional and friendly staff, couldn't do enough for us and very genuine. A perfect family boozer with incredible views! Will be making this place a regular visit from now on :) Well done!

A lovely little find along the A51. Idyllic !! Chilling with a Sunday roast watching the barges go by. The Food was cooked and served quickly on nice hot plates by friendly helpful staff. A Lovely pub in lovely settings.

A master class in how pubs can be!! I have run many pubs and hotels serving the stars at times so I automatically analyse places I visit. Never have I received the level of service that I give until now!! Charming staff, great welcoming atmosphere, great food, spotlessly clean and a master class in bar tending!! I WAS SO IMPRESSED I BROUGHT EVERYONE FROM THE CLEANERS UP A DRINK!! From polished glasses and treats for your dog! The staff are class just ask for a brandy/coniac and you know your in a great place!! I can’t express my delight enough!! This place is a star in the pub world please don’t change a thing!! I will be contacting whoever does the pub of the year and god I hope you win you and your team deserve it.. thank you so much guys. Andy C
