If you want old world charm this is a pub to visit, maybe the oldest pub in Nantwich loaded with character and charm. Great selection of beers friendly staff and a lovely open fire to warm by in the winter, good hearty meals served at a reasonable price. Well worth a visit if you want to see a little Cheshire charm.

Over the years been here many times, yes lovely surroundings, nice beer, but do check your change. I do think the young bar staff need to be trained not to short change. This IS deliberate. One of the staff, usually stands and looks up at an imaginary calculator, and comes up with a figure??? Last time we were here, 2 rounds that were identical, differed by £1.65. again check your change

Fabulous pub, great food and friendly welcome. Just wish it wasn't over a hundred miles away. Half a dozen visits a year just aren't enough ☺
