hall street chippy .. always do fresh fish to order and chips ,, rest is standard chip shop tackle pies , holands and the sausages again standard ,, i suggest if you want restaraunt quality you go to a restaraunt ,, if ya just want nice fish and chips,, hall street does that .. regards Ted ,

Had to call here one day for something to eat. Never again!!! Filthy surroundings, place stunk of old lard/oil, everything looked and felt dirty and the quality of the food was so bad, I tossed mine in the bin! No use complaining to the scruffy little chap who cooks your food, short-tempered, and a definite lack of personal hygienE!! he looked as though he'd been working on his car and decided to 'cook up some chips' he was that dirty. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Worst pie n peas iv ever had the misfortune to try n digest.the cobbles on the street were softer than the peas n the pie seemed like it had been used as a door stop.wow just glad I dint try the fish due to the fact it had 3 eyes and 1 fin under its chin.i am now vegetarian.
