Good Translink frequency from here to Belfast, especially in morning commute / evening rush. Ticket office opens usually in the mornings, til around noon or so, but sometimes not open at all, in which case buy a ticket from the conductor on the train. They now carry machines to buy tickets with cards, so no longer just a cash only transaction. Note the station has ramps for access not steps and a handrail on the ramps if needed. Basically it is an unstaffed station except for those limited ticket office times so can be a bit bleak. Small waiting shelters on platforms. No on platform ticket machine. Very limited car parking on main road, please if you come by car to park don't annoy the local residents by parking on nearby roads...
Best stop in the west of Bangor. 5 stars
Cold and grim. Ticket office only opens occasionally. Make sure you have cash if you need to buy a ticket on the train as there's no ATM nearby and they don't take cards.
