Good kids area with toys. Lots of computers. Non-books available in the library of things. A bin with free books too.
Stopped in so our 7-month old could wiggle around and burn some energy before the long drive home. This children’s nook was exactly what we needed, and would suit children up to several years’ old. Includes some kid-sized furniture, play mats, wooden toys, two kid computer stations, and of course plenty of books!! We will make this a regular stop when visiting Banff with our littles in tow.
A cute little library. Very friendly librarians. We are not local residents but just strolled in with our toddlers to check out the local library while walking around Banff. Though we couldn’t borrow any books but they were running a book sale for limited books - every book for 1 Dollar. We ended up picking 8 books - 4 for our kids ! Nice place.
Don’t know what I’d have done without the kindness of the staff here. I am from the UK, here to cycle the Great Divide, and didn’t realise I had to purchase and replace my European map with a North America map in my Garmin for navigation off grid. All this had to be done via a PC as not feasible via wifi on my mobile. I was able to download the programme for windows and get sorted after multiple extensions of internet time. You saved my life maybe literally! I can’t thank the staff here enough. Great library if you live in town. Free books, 2nd hand books for sale and a nice touch - the “library of things” section - come check it out!!
This library is small, but mighty. There is plenty of natural light if you need that to work or read. Free WiFi no membership needed They have some great community initiatives like a tool library, household goods library, take-what-you-need hygiene products, grocery gift cards...etc. There is a vending machine of free hygiene products in the washroom and if you need a diaper, they have those too. There were also some grab-and-go arts and crafts to take home.
Friendly staff and easy process to register when your live in Banff. They have a section where you can now borrow different objects as tools ; kitchen appliances ... That's amazing
Love this little library. It isn't the largest you've ever seen, but the atmosphere is super cozy and welcoming. If you don't find what you want on the shelf, as about an inter-library-loan. The staff are super accommodating and it's worth the trip.
Friendly library with helpful staff. Plenty of seating for people with laptops, most have power close by. Printing is 25 cents a sheet and easy to do. Wifi is open no password, solid, and fast but seems to block VPNs. I couldn't get two I have to work. No library parking, public parking in the area is a real challenge but with a little patients you should be able to find a spot or better yet ride the bus.
Small local library. Free wifi. Scanning and printing available, printing is 25 cents a page for black and white. All the librarians are kind and helpful. No late fees.
Great small town library. Lots of selection. Very friendly staff.
