Ordered the: - Greek Gyros Loaded Kebab on Fries Tasty and a great ratio of kebab, chips and little salad - Battered Sausages Rare to find these at restaurants and so good! - Chocolate Vanilla Cheesecake THE BEST CHEESECAKE I've had and a must-have! Do not leave without it, I am still dreaming about this slice! Incredible. Friendly, chatty service and food was quick. Place has nice decoration and The is combined with a smoothie place next door. Absolutely fabulous vegan kebabs, my favourite place to eat on a Friday evening when in town. I have tried most of the dishes on the menu and all I can say is that the food is exceptionally delectable. The owner is a great guy and the team work extremely hard in preparing and presenting the food. It's very clean and big enough inside for a small family to be seated. Keep up the good work guys, you have one loyal customer here!
Used to be a stall at festival but is now permanent on King Street and fully vegan. Went there on a Sunday for a light lunch. If you're not too hungry, I recommend sharing the loaded fries as the portion is big! The BBQ chikn was very good, although quite sweet. Staff was friendly and checked on us whilst we were eating. Even though the place is quite small, lots of plants, light and the clean wooden furniture make it cosy. We had the Karma cola sugar free which tasted a bit too much like Pepsi for me. We didn't try the desserts. There is a juice and smoothie place right next door. Will be back! Vegetarian options: 100% vegan!
A really great place - really friendly staff, delicious food, and a juice/smoothie bar connected to it! Would definitely recommend as our food was fab and 100% vegan! We stumbled upon it by accident but we'd definitely go again!
At this point I should probably have a standing order with Bamboo Street Food Coconut Tandoori Kebab and the Loaded BBQ Chickn chips . My favourite in Leicester since they were at LCB. Always incredible and the staff are so nice. Love the new location too.
Visited Bamboo Street Food whilst visiting Leicester. I ordered the Greek gyros kebab and the battered sausages and the food tasted incredible! By far some of the best vegan/plant based food I have ever had, the food quality is of such high standard, far exceeding other vegan/plant based restaurants I have visited in the past. My friend ordered the cauliflower wings and Lebanese shawarma kebab and thoroughly enjoyed these too. The atmosphere is so vibrant and positive, we couldn't fault the service, everyone was so friendly, kind and welcoming – definitely recommend!
I bought the loaded BBQ chkn fries. Both the fake meat and sauce were very delicious but the fries were overcooked, dry and hard, so I deducted a star. Clean, modern interior. They play decent music too. Nice staff. Probably the most uncomfortable seating I've experienced in my life. I chose to stand while I ate. Deducted a star for this Will go back again to try something else off the menu.
Visited this evening with a friend. Service was lovely from all of the staff. Place is clean and welcoming. Food was fantastic. I had the Lebanese shawarma kebab £8 with scriracho mayo and kinda bueno torte £5.50. Deffo recommend these items on the menu! Pics don't do them justice but deffo great value and full of flavour. Thank you guys, I'll be back in the future to try other items on the menu.
I'm not a vegan or vegetarian and I must say that this was one the most amazingly tasted meals I recently had! Absolutely lovley! I left very happy and for sure I will come back and highly recommend this place
This unit was previously something else I used to enjoy and now has been replaced by Bamboo Street Foods, and what can I say, so far what I've tried it's really nice. Went for the Lebanese Sharwarma and Siracha Seasoned fries, good flavours. Its a little pricy but worth a try. I'd come again for sure, I want to try the Coconut Tandoori Wrap, this sounds so delicious.
