This is one of the last surviving “old school” Chinese takeaways in the area. I love the food from here. Most Chinese takeaways these days are a bit “samey” with average food that’s just “ok” because they buy all their supplies from the same wholesaler. Try it, you’ll love it, use it or lose it.

Food does not taste freshly made and is lacking in flavour. Also very poor customer service - I was shouted at by the lady at the front desk simply for asking if I could pay on collection. She initially said no but realised she was being unreasonable when I asked her if the order would have been accepted without having to pay in advance if I’d called in to order. Will not be visiting this establishment again. I like to support local business but the quality of food was just not acceptable unfortunately. Would have been better if it didn’t taste like reheated food made 3 days ago.

Every time I go there and order salt and pepper chilli squed. 6 times in a row I always ask for extra chili to have it hot but never done as per my request. Seems like they don't care about customer request!

Best chinese we've had in a long time! We were recommended by our neighbours and weren't disappointed!The food was fresh delivered in about 30 min. The portions and price were fair.  It was like Chinese used to be!  Ribs were meaty and tender. Beef was delicious noodles rice chicken balls etc all very good.

Absolutely lovely food but anything what is not a rice or nood dish the portions were shocking I just about scraped my three children with fair portions !!!

The best chinese for over 20 years! Lovely people, always happy to chat. Understandably they get very busy and I accept that, it means they're worth it. Always great service, even when under pressure. Great delivery drivers who've been a part of the team for years. I dream about this food!!! Highly recommend the Smoked Chicken!! 5/5

I like it and use it often but only for certain things. The salt and pepper chicken and prawns are really good but the prawn balls are awful. Its just a gamble most of the time as to whether your getting a good meal of a slightly below average one. If they were more consistant I'd give them mire stars.

I have ordered from this takeaway a few time and never had much problems. However this time not only did they nearly ignore us the whole time we were ordering but once we got the food home we discovered a rather large fly mixed into one of the battered squid. Absolutely disgusting. When we went back to complain the woman behind the till continued talking to another member of staff hardly talking to us and then finally slammed the money down on the counter quite abruptly. I'd hate to think of what the conditions are like I'm that kitchen as she acted as though she deals with this sort of complaint all the time. I can't go back knowing what can be found in their food...Just ewwww ...

I normally order from here and like it but today it was horrible under cooked chicken balls, under cooked beef curry was too hot and spicy and rice was all lumpy and stuck together. When i called to complain they just said ehat do u want me to do about it i had only had a few mouthfulls i said i wanted my money back i have already waited well over an hour at first i was refused a refund and hung up on then i called bacl and complained again and i was told to bring the food down so they could see it and give me a partial refund. Will never use them again as i am disapointed with the customer service

Just had £25 of cold food delivered, called them about it, and was told that they would inform the chef………no offer of a refund or credit note, won’t ever be using them again. Waste of money.
