Story

The foundations of Balmule House were laid more than five hundred years ago yet the awe inspiring finishing touches have only just been applied.

Think of Balmule as a blank canvas or backdrop on which to create your perfect day. Most couples have a vision of exactly how they’d like their special day to be. We have no check-boxes, no script, no packages that you must adhere to and no timetable, what we do have, in abundance, is a will to make sure that they day you have is the day you’ve always dreamed of. From flowers to finishing touches our wedding planner with you every step of the way.

The house has a traditional atmosphere with a twist of elegance throughout, so you instantly feel at ease and at home. Our walled garden, and landscaped grounds, provide a beautiful backdrop for memorable photographs.

Located in the Fife countryside just three miles north of Dunfermline, minutes from the main motorway network and just a 25-minute drive from Edinburgh Airport. Our proximity to Edinburgh and Glasgow, as well as ease of access to the rest of Scotland, makes us a popular choice with couples whose families and friends are coming from all points north and south
