My husband and myself love this place all are friendly and that includes the campers so nice .  Toilets and showers best ever. 5 mins from town really lovely.  We went to the balmoral pub had food it was amazing service and amazing food . Told our family they said is it worth an hour's drive.  Absolutely  percent yes. We will be back for sure going there for few drinks tonight .

For my first camping adventure 66yr old I could not have chosen a better camping site. Beautiful location amid fantastic scenery and access to a variety of wonderful hikes and trails.nStaff are super friendly and the facilities such as toilets and showers are second to none. Spotlessly clean and extremely well maintained.nLocated on the banks of the river Dee and a couple of minutes walk in to the centre of Ballater with its lovely shops and places to eat.nFully intend to return later in the year.nWell done Ballater staff!nnVince JonesnArbroath

This has to be one of the best parks I have been to.Everything is immaculate.This park is situated 5 mins walk to Ballater centre where there is everything you need pubs, bike shops, butchers and a coop.We used the butchers often it was superb also the Chinese was excellent .nDog walks there’s one from the site called the riverside walk it’s around 2 miles and brings you back into Ballater, it follows the edge of the golf course.nMTBiking as I previously mentioned there’s bike shops here and if you go on Komoot and search the campsite there’s lots of routes leave directly from here.Theres also bike storage next to the site that’s secure but looks like it’s council run.

This is probably the best campsite we've visited in a long time, and we've camped in nearly 200 different ones over the years.nIt's clean, well-organised and friendly. The facilities are excellent,  home from home. The pitches are spacious.nThere is a short walk into the lovely little town of Ballater. And the price for all this  is very fair and reasonable.

We visit this beautiful site every year. Its located in the village so perfect for visiting local restaurants pubs and cafes. Site is well maintained with generous size pitches. Reasonable price considering location and high standard as well.nnOne of the best sites in Deeside and highly recommended.
