Baldock station is served by Thameslink and Great Northern trains which go towards Brighton, Cambridge and King's Cross Stations. This station has no disabled access only stairs to the platforms and also no ticket barriers or staff. The entrance to the station is small and Baldock station is a very basic train station few seats on the platforms and not to busy during the day time.
Great little town. Lots of independent business to support including cafes,restaurants,furniture shop,charity shops & a great collectable shop & model shop. Massive tesco,which is handy. Train line straight to London or Cambridge easy.
Woman in ticket office needs customer service training, unfriendly and rude.
Purchased the wrong ticket, my fault. No way to exchange tickets, refund - yes, but £10 admin fee - disappointing. As others have said, the staff member in the station office provides an interesting service.
Good links into London or Cambridge. Ticket machines regularly out of service. Manned ticket booth only open half a day and then the person in it most mornings has been, in my personal experience, a very passive aggressive, bordering on just rude woman.
