I've never reviewed a car park before.nWhen in Caernarfon, have used this park often. Cheap, never empty but always has spaces. It's a short walk into the town centre with minimal contact with the one way system; there's also an option when you exit to find the nearby, old railway tunnel which now is for cars and means, you can drive under the town to come out the other side of Caernarfon and avoid the busier roads above.nI can't comment on other reviews about not taking cash as I always use the app. Would suggest downloading 'PayByPhone' app before travelling simply to save a little time.
Spacious car park. Unfortunately the technology powering it needs updating.nnMachines regularly break down/reboot.nnAll main car parks should be pay by card/app these days, as well as retaining the option for cash.
Visited The Balaclafa Car Park on Wednesday 21st December 2022. At present the car park , like many others in the area , are Free for Christmas BUT ONLY from 10 December 2022 to 27 December from 11:00 in the morning .nnThe Car park is well laid out with 2 rows of spaces and a one way system around the car park. It is easily accessible with some disabled parking spaces at one end. It is an easy into Caernarfon down a ramp onto Balaclava Road . You can also access the Asda store via a walkway Pont Relwe although Asda does have its own car park limited to 1 hour .
It was quite busy but I managed to find a space. I paid £5.50 for 24 hours, and I used the Paybyphone app. Simple and straightforward
