Inhaler ran out on Thurs, nobody answered the phone, phoned again today to ask for repeat rx and refused to issue over the phone, how stupid, I'm an asthmatic under regular review and a doctor checked all my prescriptions when I registered, why am I not automatically on repeat prescription and why can I not leave my name, date of birth, phone number and prescription details on an answerphone like my last surgery? They told me to register online but I can't access any of the functions until I prove my identity AT the surgery, which I already did back when I registered! Stupid stupid system and really unhelpful receptionist, not impressed at all. Edit: Receptionist didn't even look at my proof of identity when I went to get verified on the online system. And then when I came back to pick up my prescription they hadn't even put mine through, and they'd cancelled my husband's prescription without putting a note on the system as to why or notified us of the cancellation. So receptionist had to run through to get emergency ones signed thus completely defeating the point of the repeat prescription service. What a terribly inefficient way of operating. 18/05/18 - This surgery continue to be utterly incompetent at managing repeat prescriptions. Sitting here waiting once again for an acute prescription after coming to collect only to find it not at the pharmacy. GP had rejected request because they thought I needed an asthma check (had one two months ago, GP even commented on it when I saw them last). They just don't seem to bother reading the notes when sitting off prescriptions. I received no phone call to notify me of the rejected request or the need to make an appointment - apparently I was 'on a list of people to call' but the surgery was closed on Tuesday so they hadn't worked through the backlog. Well given I submitted the request 4 days previously, your workload management issues should not be my problem!

I have recently moved to the area and have joined Badgerswood Surgery. They have given me excellent service so far; always helpful and always friendly - I feel very fortunate indeed.

Not even 1 star!!!!!!!! I would give them 0 but you can't post it!!!! I cannot stress enough how appalling this brand new surgery is!!!! I would definitely not recommend going there when you have a serious complaint, as you may have died before they would book you an appointment. I wished to make an appointment to see a GP due to suffering Whiplash Injuries. The surgery is less than a mile from home. After 45 mins of 2 rude, uncaring and unhelpful receptionists that refused to let me register for seeing a GP or advise me of their next appt. Instead of doing their role of admin duties, they decided they would act as GP's and advised me to go to A&E, even though I explained I had come from A&E!!!! They are neither qualified to make that assessment nor legally allowed to in their roles of receptionists. Only a GP can assess my health and advise me to go to A&E!!!! I then, after complaining severely, insisted on speaking to whomever was in charge, to explain to me why I was being refused from seeing a GP, when I had injuries to my neck and sought medical services!!!! The practice manager, eventually appeared, who was even ruder than the receptionists!!! Again, refused to allow me to make an appointment and refused to provide, despite asking over and over again for a temporary services form (as I was not registered with them) and a registration form so I could. My partner who was unwell with cancer had to sit for 45 mins waiting for me in the car, as he had drove me the 1 mile to the surgery, as my car was written off in the accident. I explained this to them. Appallingly, they showed no concern for my health after an accident or the health of my partner who has Stage 4 Cancer and just completed Chemo. This is a health service provider!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shocking!!!!!!! No sympathy and no empathy whatsoever When someone needs the services of a GP, its usually because they are feeling unwell. It should not take 45 mins of 3 different people blocking the making of an appointment. They made me feel even more unwell!!! By comparison, the lovely receptionist at Grayshott Surgery, took all of 2 minutes to complete the same exercise and get me to see a GP later on, the same day!!!! Effortlessly!!! and even expressed concern for my injuries!!! What you would expect from someone in Healthcare!!!! I have just contacted the Healthcare Ombudsman and relayed my experience. I shall be making a formal complaint too!!! I shall also be writing to my MP about the shocking experience I had at the local Doctors!!! I am a British Citizen, have a British Passport, and I have paid National Insurance all my life, and I have a right to see a GP of my choice. Laws have been broken by this practice by denying me an appointment with a medical GP, and I now certainly I would not trust their judgement in any care for my health, when their judgement in choosing a receptionist team and practice manager is so did-satisfactory, negligent, and inappropriate, when pre-requisite skills, such as a caring and helpful character to those in need of medical services, should be foremost!!!!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS SURGERY IF YOU HAVE A SERIOUS HEALTH COMPLAINT!!!! THEY ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL, CARING OR EVEN INTERESTED THAT YOU ARE ILL. THE RECEPTION IS NOT EVEN MANNED!!! AND ALL YOU WILL BE MET WITH IS RUDENESS AND NO URGENCY TO GET YOU TO A GP!!!! ABSOLUTELY, DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR OF A MEDICAL FACILITY!!!!

Nice surgery just a shame about some of the receptionists. Just one or two really let them down trying to be as unhelpful as possible.
