We went here for lunch on a weekend and found the place to be quite nice. They seemed under staffed but the lady serving us was incredibly polite and hard working. We ordered a deal for 2 which was very worth it for £14.99. We got half a grill chicken, Mandi, and some Shawarma on a bed of rice. The grill chicken was nice and flavorful and the rice were very well cooked. However the Mandi lacked taste perhaps because it was not seasoned well. Their sauces were very nice though. For the price I really like this place and the people working here are very nice.
Service was good. Very nice brothers working St the restaurant. Good atmosphere and decor. Very family friendly. Portion sizes were good and has good variety. Pricing is very decent - kebabs could do with a little extra seasoning and cooked a bit less but overall alhamdulillah good experience and food quality.
Beautiful food. We stumbled across this place accidentally and were blown away. It wasn't greasy and though I was full I fell good. Very very good food!
Visited to bite some Lebanese food and friendly stuff welcoming at the front. After checking menu see mainly grill food less special food. Also drink section wasn't on the menu. Spacey place and they accept card payment if it is over 10£ otherwise prefer cash. on Coventry road Mainly places over there prefer cash it is good thing tbh. Food was okay, but soup of day lentil one was nice.
Lovely deco.. Good layout, spacious. Customer service was very good. The gentleman at the counter was very helpful and was good with his recommendations. We ordered a mix platter for 2..the rice was ok.. Not fresh, but edible. The skews were ok, dry, which shouldn't be the case. Not enough sauce, or a selection. Over all, food is ok but for grill it doesn't need to be a little more tender.
Had a sharing platter for two people here. Food was fantastic especially the lamb Mandi. Excellent value for money too. Looking forward to coming back.
We ate at this small Lebanese/Arabic restaurant during the evening of 24 December 2021. It was surprisingly very quiet; we were the only customers eating in. The food was reasonably priced. We ordered a selection of items from their menu for the family. The children said they enjoyed the food, but not so the adults. We thought the food was slightly bland for an Arabic/Mediterranean menu. The children who were very hungry may give the food a rating of 9-10/10. The adults 6-7/10. The service was OK - although, I had to wait a while for a member of staff to pass by, every time we needed something e.g., everyone was given a fork and spoon - no knife. The staff were polite. The restaurant decor was average, with a Middle Eastern theme. We previously ate at the Al-Bader Restaurant on Ladypool Road, B'ham. The experience there was excellent. We couldn't go there this time, as they are no longer HMC-certified halal. This one is.
Clean and friendly restaurant. Only feedback is make the music a bit quieter, food and service outstanding - really well made and great selection on the menu. Milkshake delicious which is rare! Recommend the Harira, Mandi and Chicken SaladFood: 5/5
A nice and well decorated place. Tessellated Islamic art really brings the Middle East vibe. The service was very good. Unfortunately it took a long time for the food to arrive the restaurant was not busy at all. Food is good and prices are okay be prepared to spend a little more. An okay experience
Very disappointed with my visit at Bader as I expected some good quality shawarma considering their prices. Honestly never had such bad shawarma, the meat was soo dry and didn’t have the shawarma taste, the meat was basically dry flavourless grilled chicken. The fries was nice and crispy and potato content was good. Staff provided two different sauces without having to ask as well which was nice. If you go here I strongly suggest you don’t get the chicken shawarma you will be left disappointed.
