Bad egg knows how to do bottomless brunch! Mix and match cocktails and two dishes from the menu, that is the deal you need to try. Place is very lively with good music and very friendly staff. Even tho, the place is tiny and packed at all the time, everyone who worked that day was accommodating, smiling and having good time. There’s nothing more that customer would ask. We have tried hash brown “burger”, poke bowl, popcorn chicken and pancakes. And we both agreed that popcorn chicken is the winner. But we will be definitely coming back to try their regular menu, as the burger apparently is the best in town!
Wouldn't be my first option for a brunch, but it was quite an alright one. The whole brunch offered seems to be more geared towards the bottomless concept than the actual food experience. The place is rather dark, American dinner-y style with some quirks like the tiles in the toilets or the emergency lights on the dinning area. The staff are nice but the place is so busy they need to rush here and there to serve all the tables. The food is mostly greasy-spoon-like, although much nicer, plus some salads, burgers and the like. The portions are a tad small the sides rather than the actual dishes in relation to the price. The eggs are, disappointingly enough, far from the best I've had in London. Not bad, but nothing too remarkable. Would visit again for burgers, but probably not for brunch unless I wanted to accompany it with bottomless drinks
Enjoyed our visit to Bad Egg. We were in the vicinity and wanted breakfast so popped in. We tried the Guac and Black Bean Tacos which were quite good, the Shakshuka which was spicy and Pancakes with Blueberry Jam and Vanilla Cream were descent. One of the waiting staff was a bit brisk but then we were looked after by a New Yorker who was studying in the UK and she more than made up for the briskness of the previous person. The coffee could be improved upon. Interiors were industrial in style and akin to an American Diner. Good place to check out if you want a relaxed breakfast in the city without feeling you should be wearing a suit!
Brilliant egg themed restaurant with an alternative styling. The staff was super enthusiastic when I was there and served us quickly. Food was cooked fresh to a high standard and an absolute delight for a late breakfast. I'll definitely be back!
Absolutely loved the food here - it was seriously amazing. I would give 5 stars but unfortunately the speed of the service really let things down by the end. After asking for the bill there was probably a good 15 minute wait before receiving it, and then there was another 15 minute wait for the card reader to come over. This long wait at the end was a shame, as otherwise the food was perfect, and I definitely recommend going anyway!
This restaurant has been styled in quite a unique and interesting style and the menu items reflect this. My chicken burger contained coconut, peanut butter and jam among other things and this surprising works in a way that must be experienced for yourself, like or dislike. Staff were friendly but wish they were more present around the restaurant as it was hard to summon one.
Fantastic boozy brunch. Food was good, the bottomless was really bottomless. A really great waiter who was never anything less than charming. The restaurant was packed but service was top notch. A must do if you are a brunch fan.
Normal place with nothing outstanding except for the service they were on the ball ready to help us. The size of the burger was small but it was balanced by the big Sweet potato fries portion. Delicious Grilled halloumi although a bit pricey £7.50. Very simple Asian salad
Had the Bad Egg burger hash - a beef patty, nduja cheese fondue, soft egg yolk, pickles, onions, yellow mustard smashed with crispy potato and a fried egg. Underwhelming to say the least, maybe I just had high expectations. Cost of this was £11, chocolate shake was £5.50 plus 12.5% service charge came to £18.56. Don't know if it was the tomato ketchup or the food but felt really acidic on the stomach afterwards. The waitress accidentally knocked my coat on the floor without realising and along with the food, left me with a weird feeling about Bad Egg overall. Note to Bad Egg: very close but the visit wasn't January 2020 and if you put in as much effort with the restaurant as you do with sarcasm on Google reviews, it will be packed in no time!
We went here for a bottomless brunch and was fantastic! There are not many alcoholic drinks options for the brunch mimosa, Prosecco and Bloody Mary but drinks do come to you quick and you constantly being topped up. Staff were really great and attentive, taking orders quickly and explaining the menu clearly. The menu was great and had loads of different options. The brunch lasted for around 2 hours, you got bottomless drinks and two dishes for £35, I thought this was a great price considering you are in the city and a lot of other brunches in London charge you around £25 just for the drinks and you pay for food on top. I would 100% recommend this place.
