There is plenty of seating area. Very clean and tidy The queues were pretty long to order burgers and chips We didn’t eat in the cafe by looking at the other reviews. It didn’t taste very good just as well it’s lvery expensive it’s £7 butter, beer But you do take the tanker as a souvenir we bought a packed lunch and a flask to save money
Chickpea burger: 8/10. High quality chickpea burger. No need to have the beef version, order this instead. Crispy and tasty fries. Butterbeer: 10/10. Yummy soda drink with frothy top. Expensive for what you get.
I've never written a review before, but I had to leave one for this restaurant. The burger backlot burger they served is by far the worst food that I've eaten in my life. It seems that they made the burger with the leftover plaster that used to build the tree trunks in the movie. The tomatoes and lettuce were probably washed out with chlorine to make sure that they have zero taste. As for the ban, I'm still unsure of how they messed up with that one. If someone wants to feel how it is to have COVID19 that hit your taste then they only have to pay 9.50 pounds at backlot café.
Sadly no other option but to eat here. The patty was burned black. Loaded chips were okay. The cup of butter beer can be kept but the beer itself was too sweet and expensive
I didn't eat here but tried butter beer which I didn't like at all hahaha. Service was fast line was long for food but line for butter beer only was very short and I took cup home so even tho drink finished in the sink I am not upset about it.
Little bit pricey for food and drinks. £6.95 for a butter beer with a souvenir cup, or £3.95 in a one time use cup. Lines for food and drinks left one and butter beer are separate on the right. So learn from me and split up if you want both and have 2+ ppl. There’s also a food truck outside if you just want tea or water, no lines
The worst burger ever. Very bad food. We got hamburgers and chicken burger, all the food was bad. The bread seems to be old, the hamburgers were very small inside of the bread. Everything was cold. Bad fries as well. It seems like they really don’t care about quality since it’s the only place you can eat inside. The Butterbeer in my opinion is disgusting hahah but other people might like it.
Loved the tour but whatever you do, do not buy the butterbeer. I’ve had dirty pints that were more palatable. Don’t ruin the rest of your tour by fighting the urge to be sick in the sorting hat. Otherwise, fantastic day out!!
The food spoiled the wonderful mood from the tour. 10 pounds for a so called hot dog or a burger which has nothing but a bun and a plastic sausage. Without any salad. Fries and butterbeer are also not tastyFood: 1/5
Ordered a Chicken Burger and got a veggie burger instead.After trying to talk to an employee of the restaurant I was met with hate.The burger contained a tomato slice as thick as one of the employees forehead ,the salad was unedible and the patty nearly caused me to puke. Treat yourself and eat from the dumpster behind a mcDonalds nearby. Don't eat here.
