As a woman I’ve never experienced a more welcoming environment and I have been to baa bar on many occasions, the bouncers told me to let them know if anything inappropriate happens and they will sort it which made me feel super safe! Nicest people ever and the staff are all lovely and kind! I would definitely recommend going to baa bar especially for the shots and the environment
Brilliant place to spend a night out. Always has a diverse crowd of people of all ages and backgrounds. Staff are absolutely amazingly friendly. Security are lovely and have always made me feel safe and welcome, are always sure to deal with an issue in a respectful way when needed.
Disgusting how bouncers behave here. How can women feel safe in a predatory environment like this when the bouncers are predatory themselves. Awful!!!! Employ decent human beings otherwise shut yourselves down. How dare you take money from women and not bother to make a safe environment for them to have a good time. Despicable. Would have left the review with no stars if I was allowed too.
Not my scene particularly, but decent atmosphere and cheap drinks. There's a section upstairs that can be hired for parties/functions, but it opens to the general public after a while, maybe 11pm?. Door staff are pleasant also.
Awful. Women DO NOT GO HERE. I was asked to leave for no reason at all male friends pulling pranks but I was the only one singled out. Was stood outside, not falling down drunk and they kicked me out. Bouncers are a***holes. Do not trust. Do not give them your money.
Chloe the manger was very respected in the regards of allowing me to pop out of the que as I was needing a medical emergency. Fran was the original rep that allowed me to go out and Chloe accepted her decision. I would highly recommend this venue, very polite and kind.
The door staf were not friendly and rude. We hope they realise the way they re talking to customers to welcome then is not the way how to behave. Telling people to Go in line while there are no people around bit bonkers.. Shouting at people with caps instead a normal conversation and then wearing caps themselves. There are lots of nice other places to visit for a dance.. Go there!
Absolutely DISGUSTED with the way the bouncers treated my partner. Everyone he was with was let in however he was told to stand to the side for no reason after showing ID. It’s blatantly obvious the that bouncers are racist as he is only person of mixed race ethnicity that was entering at the time. The bouncers couldn’t give him a reason as to why he wasn’t allowed in which makes it all the more obvious. This place should be shut down & after reading other reviews it’s clearly the revolting choice in bouncers that is letting this place down. *** responding to Baa Baa Nottingham’s reply *** My partner was not refused on Sunday 5th of January so this information is irrelevant to what happened within the incident. None of what has been described including the description of the bouncer is correct so unfortunately the incident you described is a different one. What my partner experienced was inexcusable however I appreciate your response but you have the wrong day.
nottingham baa bar don’t even deserve a 1 star. don’t go to this place on a real the staff and bouncers are unbelievably rude they wouldn’t let my friend in with her real ID the bouncers spoke to us disgustingly and the staff are horrible i’ve been barged numerous times and no apology for no reason it’s vile. let people get punched up and kicked out for no reason what so ever even though they did nothing wrong it’s poor from a place you just want feel safe in. i seriously wouldn’t recommend this to a friend it’s horrible.
Don’t believe all the stuff on socials. Good music n ALL staff are well mannered but also some are good to have a chat with. Shots are also Peng, wide variety.
