We had purchased tickets with friends for the St. Patrick's Day party, but when we approached the gates, the security guards wouldn't let us in, claiming that one of our friends looked too intoxicated which wasn't true at all, as he's teetotal. They told us to come back in half an hour, but when we returned, they started making fun of us even on racial grounds and were very rude, even vulgar. It was clear they weren't letting us in for their own amusement. We just wanted to have a good time with friends, but they treated us like animals. Of course, getting a refund isn't an option, as it's just a money-making scheme for the club, preying on poor students. We were simply robbed, there's no other way to put it. I strongly advise against going to this club, as they might just rob you without any consequences. I don't extend my regards to the gatekeepers; they should do something meaningful with their lives.
Reallly great night in baa bar. The staff were really friendly and helpful Owen couldn’t have been nicer giving recommendations for the rest of the weekend! Thank you, definitely will be going back :Service: 5/5
Came in here and straight away Jake seved me although it was a busy night. Ended up in the techo room and had an athsma attack. Dec texted the staff chat and Chloe got me outside to get air and breathing to normal and I feel that they should both be recognised for that. They are both amazing for dealing with it appropriately and helping me get back to my friends. 1000/10 for Dec and Chloe
The waitress was so lovely, but the manager was really hostile, we was on a bottomless brunch and they only cared about the bigger table and forgot about all the little tables, we had about 4 drinks each on a BOTTOMLESS BRUNCH that’s 1 drink each every 30 minutes, not worth the money definitely wouldn’t book or come back here again, waitress thank you!
disgusting behaviour by the “security” guards. i was seriously ill 8/12/23 at 2:30am whilst at baabar. my friends were kind enough to ask for a bouncer as i had thrown up in the toilet and near enough unconscious. weird thing was that I hadn’t drank much that night compared to what I normally do. After eating a whole meal before coming out, being very careful with my drinks, the security guard was blaming me for not eating anything and that I was just “drunk” and didn’t need help. Bare in mind he is saying this whilst I’m unresponsive. 2 other girls were in worse shape than I was yet they did nothing to help them or call an ambulance. This woman security guard said that I didn’t need an ambulance as I would be “wasting” their time. Until I got kicked out with my friends whilst still unresponsive after 2 hours. My friend ended up calling an ambulance and I got put on as a “Category 2” patient as they thought leaving me in a state like that was very dangerous. I am disgusted with the way that your “security” guards have no sympathy for people especially if they may get spiked and just get called “drunk”. I thought a security guard is who looks after your security and safety. no safety or security was shown this night.
Pay £8 to get in, Wait about 9 hours to get to the bar. Buy a drink for 9 million pounds, then security will knock the drink out of your hands trying to stop a fight, then the barmen will deny you another. No wonder people hate the north. I’d rather play twister on a sheet of sand paper than come here again.Food: 1/5
My daughter was at Baa Bar on a night out with friends. After quite a few drinks she took ill. I received a phone call from Fran, the shift supervisor, in the early hours of Sunday morning, to inform me of how ill my daughter was. She said that my daughter wasn't well enough to come home in a taxi and she asked if we could come for her. She assured me that she would stay with my daughter until we arrived and make sure she was OK. Fran gave me the postcode of the rear entrance to the club where she said we could park up and she'd meet us. Sure enough as we arrived, after a quick call to her, she was outside waving to us so we'd know where to go. She took us to our daughter and then handed me her belongings and helped us down the stairs to the car outside. Her duty of care was second to none, she was very caring towards my daughter and extremely polite and helpful to us. She is an absolute credit to your venue and deserves recognition and thanks for all she did for us. It would have been so easy to just throw my daughter and friends out and leave them to sort things out and get home, but she didn't, she looked after my daughter and made sure we were informed and that my daughter was safe, and for that I'm extremely grateful. Thank you Fran!
Some Security Officers were tyrants and had eager to use force. Witnessed inhumane and very unprofessional behaviour by SIA Officers at the door. Assaulted and reported incident to local authorities. Pursuing press charges for physical and emotional harm. I highly advise customers to AVOID INTERACTION WITH THE VENUES SIA APPROVED GUARDS. Urging the relevant authorities, regulatory bodies to review officers behaviour and credentials. To some extent it felt like they were an organised gang by hugely failing to follow the Private Security Industry guidelines. Hopefully this will find it's way to concerned personnels.
Perhaps some of the most helpful staff in Liverpool. I lost my phone in the club on halloween night. Both the bar staff and supervisor helped me look for it and assured me it would be found. Managers Cat, Chloe and Jay went above and beyond to assure it was found and doorman James was incredible, keeping contact with and them until it was found. The club did more to help than ever imagined or expected and more than id expect from any club in the area! The premises is great with a wide range of music and reasonable drinks. Not a single bad thing to say about the place
Without a doubt worst club in liverpool. Bar staff had no idea what they were doing, bouncers are just power hungry. The man selling stuff in the toilets was the low point of my night. My friend was having a panic attack and I went in the stall to check on him and the man decided to full force kick the door at my head and when I tried to leave attempted to hit me twice. I tried to explain to the supervisor on the door their worker just assaulted me, nearly knocking me out but her excuse was ‘his English is not the best’. I don’t get what the language barrier has to do with this a simple knock on the door or a ‘hey’ would have done, not assaulting me. Big talk asking for reviews to ‘improve’ but all the reviews cement you believe in a sexist, homophobic, racist environment.
