I cannot give enough praise to Dan , in the paint department for his help recently. He really worked diligently and was both well informed and courteous. I would als like to mention Shirley on the checkout for her good humoured , accommodating and patient approach. Well done B&Q management, for creating such a positive working environment , for your staff.

Some parts of the store were not wide enough for the B&Q supplied wheelchair my wife was in . The checkout operator was very inexperienced, I had to wait an age while she tried unsuccessfully to identify some paving slabs for the customer in front of me. In the end another staff member offered to transfer my items to another till but then got sidetracked by the rookie operator. There were then two of them trying to instruct the rookie. My back was really hurting by the time I got served. I always seem to have a problem of some sort when I visit B&Q. Not impressed.

Click and collect is also the returns counter so you have to wait a long time to delt with, especially as this store is under staffed

Decent sized store. Good range of products. lots of parking. Self service and friendly staff too!

Useless and incompetent. We had a bathroom fitted by these cowboys (not cheap, but we thought that by paying over the odds then we'd get quality goods/service). What a shambles. On inspection, they quoted the wrong prices (but not to worry. you'll get it back), the installation went over time, we never did get our money back until we forced for it with written letters and copies of original quotes, the installation is STILL incomplete (they left it at 90% - were told they'd come back - never have - despite going back and giving reminders). The job itself is poor. It leaks and we've been back twice to report it and told that they'll get back to us (the fitting team in Exeter). Nothing. AVOID at ALL costs.
