The council offices in Walton street, are an accessible building, with a lot of near by parking for both staff and visitors which is important, its also close to Aylesbury railway station and the main shopping centre, and next to the library all of which make it fairly well laid out conceptually at least! The only thing which lets things down perhaps is the austere and grey nature of the 1960s? building which is the only tower block in Aylesbury so it kinda sticks out a bit well a lot actually. There is a café inside for staff, and it seems a nice place to work and the staff I have met and spoken to here are polite and helpful.
Their staff literally don't know their job. The data controller doesn't know the basics of the laws and her and a colleague wasted hrs of public time arguing with someone filming in the street, even going so far as to call the police wasting even more tax players money. The staff.need a reality check and a reminder of who they work for.
Once again sufferred damage to my car as a result of driving through a pothole on an unlit wet road. In Jordan's Lane nearly opposite the junction with Jordan's Way Little point in contacting the council as they will claim that they are meeting all legal requirements. There is no way that they are exercising their proper duty of care for road users. However, they are prepared to lie their way out of trouble and apart from taking them to court with the risk of losing your case and this would be following a seriously convoluted number of procedures designed to make the case almost impossible. At the end of the day regardless of the cost of rectifying the damage in my case over £700 and the stress involved it isn't worth the effort.
If there was an option for 0 stars I'd choose that.... The majority of this useless bunch would struggle to run a bath let alone a large council! A decent suggestion instead of our council tax bill increasing by £300+ next year would be for the people who have "apparently" been running the council to lose their jobs and pensions which is what alot of the increase in going towards rather than actual services in the community! Then maybe people elected on behalf of their community will work for them rather than doing what's best for themselves... I
Dumb&Dumber working for the council the woman who deals with data was particularly patronising in what she thought was GDPR as for the woman making false allegations I say shame on her for trying to make a man feel like he's doing something inappropriate! She had a face like a pit bull that had been stung by a wasp and had several photographs of her taken without permission which is of course LEGAL
The most Awful council I have ever come across. I have been waiting for over a year to get a Secondary School for my son in Buckinghamshire. He has been missed from their books as a resident in the area. Being a Child who has actually passed their 13 plus exam they haven't been able to give him a School offer from a single school out of 13 Grammer Schools and other State Schools in Aylesbury. Because someone out there is not doing their Job properly my child has to Travel 29 Miles every single day to go to school in Windsor. Your lack of efficiently in your Admissoins Team is causing my child distress every single day as going to school at 6 am in the morning is a mission for him. Abosolutely disgusted with your service.
Neither staff or the policemen they called on a law abiding citizen understand the basics of GPDR. Snowflakes everywhere but I guess it's that time of the year.
I cannot believe to members of staff council staff just imbarrised themselves on a YouTube video. Both require re training in GDPR rules . Wow so back wards unbeleavable.
Reporting littering out my property numerous time via fix my street and I get an email saying this is closed even though I have provided photographic evidence. No response and nothing being done.
Gdpr team are a joke and need firing or a best a full retraining. Total disgrace they need a budget cut
