They called me one day before my one week booking, telling me that it is not possible to have an insurance without a UK driving license. My license is European and I hadn't have any problem before. Also, there is no problem with other car companies. They told me to call some number to get a full refund, and they hold me in the phone for 20+ minutes. Horrible customer service, and super late notice (I had booked like a month ago, and I was a regular customer).

Hired a VW transporter van to help my daughter move 4 years' worth of "stuff" back from London......superb vehicle backed up by the nicest staff you could wish to meet - a winning combination! Thanks guys.

We arrived late, rang to let them know, and were initially a bit worried they wouldn't wait, but the guy who served us, and who volunteered to wait late for us, couldn't have been more helpful and friendly.

When I collected the car I was told there was a full tank of petrol, actually there was only 3/4 of a tank, the guy rushed me into taking car away and didn't give me adequate time to inspect it, or a basic description on how to use the gears which were complicated, the car I was given wasn't the one I had hired, and on my returning the car I noticed damage which I may have spotted had I been given sufficient time to inspect it first, I was charged for the damage.
