I would be very wary of using this taxi service, very recently one cut in front of my brother whilst he was driving was my brothers right of way and the driver literally had to drive over the curb to cut in front then got out of the taxi, that clearly had passengers in it, making violent threats. Obviously must have thought my brother was alone because as soon as he realised there was another passenger he quickly got back in and sped off.  Very dangerous situation as there were several cars behind my brother and he could have caused a major incident had my brother not reacted in time. Would not trust this service if this is how their drivers react.

Ave Cabs have served me very well for a number of regular local trips, on time, clean cars and friendly drivers.  Most recently they helped me out with a problem at Heathrow with a long delay. Martyn was calm and understood my situation perfectly.  Communication between him, the driver and my wife worked very well and I am very thankful to Martyn and Ave Cabs, thank you Martyn!

Timely and professional for our airport drop-off and collection with a friendly and most helpful driver.

Booked from Leckhampstead to Newbury station. Excellent, friendly service. Most impressed that when booked for return journey, the office even checked at which platform I would be arriving and was waiting right outside the exit. Full marks. Maybe not the cheapest, but certainly would recommend for their efficiency and friendliness.

I took an Ave car to Heathrow from Newbury in October for the first time. The driver deliberately ripped me off by charging me meter rate which on a Sunday was 1.5x. He also picked me up late. The total cost was £198. It should have been £90. The owner later  refunded me the difference when brought to his attention but the whole episode highlighted a lack of controls around billing and customer trust. It was not a basic error. The driver was experienced and knew exactly what he was doing. It is therefore hard to believe it was a one off event. I now use the local firm Cabco. They are run as a cooperative and are much more reliable.

Drivers are good. Customer care always accepts the call in very short or no time.

Ave cabs was most excellent and professional service! They came early to when I booked in and the driver was very friendly. Unfortunately I left my phone in the car yet I was able to get it with no issue and they even charged it for me!Service:&nbsp;Limousines

Arrived on time and drove safely.  Would recommend.  Used to pick us up near Hungerford, after a family wedding.
