Really really disappointed with the service I recieved both of the hairdressers made me feel rubbish about my hair the pic I asked for and what I recieved... awful didnt realise till I was home I had purple/silver streaks in my hair..... their attitude was rude and would NOT go back or recommend and will take further action . I go on holiday tmrw so its too late but they are rough no customer care at all I wish I read their reviews before booking
After trying so many beauticians in Merseyside, including Formby, Crosby, etc. Leah does everything to perfection the best nails and pedicure ever, my wax, my eyeslash all amazing. I highly recommend it. No glitters, no champagne but high quality.
Shocking service. Rang for a last minute cut this morning to see if I could be fitted in. I explained I was pushed for time and needed to be out by 11.30 and asked politely if there was any appointments available. I was told that’s fine and they have availability and to come in for 11am. I arrived on time. I sat there for 25 mins with barely a hello from the hairdresser or apology that they were running late, just an uninviting cold atmosphere. My coat wasn’t offered to be hung up like most polite hairdressers do. I walked out after that. Not everyone has a spare 25 mins to just sit there with no explanation! Now I see other people who have reviewed have had similar comments about the atmosphere and rudeness too. Saints Hairdressers down the road managed to fit me in straight after and were so lovely, friendly warm and welcoming. A much better experience. Hopefully Avant Garde can work on improving their customer service and attitude for future clients.
About 15 minutes late starting and probably one of the worst hair cuts I ever had. I’m not sure why a hairdresser would let a customer go out with wet hair either. My hair was poorly chopped into and fairly big chunks were cut out of my fringe. I explicitly asked for my hair to be thinned out which I had to request twice as it wasn’t done first time. Poor experience and would not recommend I’m afraid
I’ve been going to this salon for over 8 years now and I’ve never been let down, every single client is treated with the upmost respect and always come out smiling after their service. Had my hair done there 3 times now once by the owner. Lovely lady. And twice by Keetah she is brilliant at what she does. Worked miracles with my hair getting rid of my ruby red. And went to brown with blonde highlights. The woman is a miracle worker see u in October Keetah xx
Had my hair cut and blown by Kim today and I’m absolutely delighted with result. This was the first time I had used this salon and I will definitely make it my regular place to go now.
My hairdressers for many years and great news .....Joanne is back. Im lucky and happy to go to any of the stylists because they have all been there for years. The salon gets an update quite regularly so its a nice space to get your own refurb!

Fantastic welcome here every time I visit. I have been happy with haircuts and finishes, beauty treatments and most recently the care and niceness shown to my toddler getting his hair trimmed
