I took my Discovery here 3 years ago to have a new clutch and an Ashcroft reconditioned gearbox fitted. It came back with damaged interior trim, snagged wiring harness, broken towball cover, strange noises from the newly built gearbox, no reverse lights and an incorrectly adjusted gearstick bias plate so that 3rd gear was very hard to find. It took 2 return visits to get things sorted out, and another visit to Ashcroft to get the reverse lights working again. I sold the car soon afterwards as it was never the same again. I hope they have improved since then!
