After having trouble with my Mondeo Auto gearbox this company was recommended to me by the mechanic who looks after my car, from the first contact to collecting my car the service was excellent, everything was explained to me by Neil and his son , very polite and courteous and I was quoted a price and kept updated regularly. From first contact to last, every person has been courteous, respectful and knowledgeable. I have had every question answered, been kept up to date and engaged in all steps of the strip down and rebuild of my older Honda 3L auto gearbox. The staff’s obvious professionalism and dedication to “getting it right” is really apparent and I would recommend them to anyone seeking a solid no nonsense job for a fair market price.
I cannot reccomend these guys enough. I promise you will not find better service for a better price anywhere. I was lucky enough to breakdown close to their garage during the evening rush hour5pm. I managed to roll my car to the front of their garage and had a quick word with them explaining the problems with my car. Within literally minutes they had pin pointed the problem and kindly agreed to fix it for me. By 11am the next morning they rung me advising me of the work that needed carrying out on the car and how much it would cost. An hour later the car was ready to collect and in perfect condition once again. These guys are true professionals who work at high standard for a decent price and when it comes to cars thats all you can ask for. Thanks again

Recently had the dual-clutch Getrag gearbox in my Mitsubishi Outlander serviced by Autogearbox Repairs in Preston. Their service was first class from start to finish. It was obvious from the get-go that they are knowledgeable and experienced and guided me through the steps they would take to service the unit. Turnaround was fast and both the parts and the labour were very sensibly priced. Based on my experience I can highly recommend these guys. Very pleased.
Absolutly fantastic service from Neil an the guys. My BMW actually drives better than when i first bought it 2 years ago an before the fault occured. Dont go anywere else these ARE the people you want to do your auto gearbox repairs thanks again
