Have to say the food was disgusting that we had there last night. We were kept waiting for our meal and then when it came it was the wrong order. The rice was just a hard clump in s bowl , after complaining about that, we were brought another bowl of rice exactly the same. We couldn’t eat it. We went there for a birthday meal and to enjoy time together but because they brought the wrong order my husband had to eat his alone before it got cold . The service was slow , the whole experience took two hours. Would not recommend this restaurant.

The worst Chinese I have eaten. The black bean sauce was like sweet jelly. The ribs were disgusting. But my son liked the noodles

Cannot fault this Chinese at all. Have used multiple times now for the last year, and the service has been brilliant. Lady who always serves us is quiet but very polite and effficient. Food is always fantastic! Highly recommend using this restaurant. - AVOID HONGKONG GARDENS who are also a Chinese in Hastings.

The best Chinese takeaway we have had in years! Prompt service, very reasonably priced and the food was excellent. We ordered a set menu for 2 and everything was fresh, tasty and plentiful. The pork balls were cooked to perfection, the beef was succulent, the chicken was moist and well seasoned and the sweet and sour sauce was just how it should be, not too watery and NO hint of vinegar! We would absolutely recommend The August Moon.
