Simply fantastic fish! I visited with my family for a Saturday lunch after my girlfriend had suggested this restaurant and it was amazing. The menu is varied with a good choice and so much fresh sustainable fish. Most caught locally using traditional sustainable methods and it tastes so good. I tried the seafood linguini and was one of the best I've ever had. My whole family enjoyed every dish and the wine list accompanying the food is superb. Great service friendly team and good value. Reservations are required to guarantee a table especially in the summer and sunny days.
Delicious fresh oysters! We also enjoyed very much the tuna tartare, seafood linguine and fresh fried calamari Staff are very friendly offering a great service. The place has a spacious and clean toilet where we could change our baby
A little gem that is filled with goodness. Good food, good service and good vibes one of my favorite spots in Hastings that will leave you very satisfied and eager to come back. The tuna tartare was lovely and fresh the fish and chips crispy and delicious we also went for the oysters because they were in season and were amazing.
Very fresh seafood, all the garnishments respect the flavour perfectly without covering the taste of the meat. A 'must go' for any trip in Hastings.

We were in Hastings for the weekend and I booked Undercliffe House based on the reviews. The service was amazing and the staff were really accommodating as we were dining in a group with our 2 year old son. All of our meals were so tasty with fresh ingredients and the lobster was cooked to perfection! We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere great reggae tunes so we booked again for the next evening. Thank you to everyone at Undercliffe House, we will definitely visit again when we come back to Hastings.
We came here after visiting the aquarium, the service was fantastic & the food was impeccable. I had the mussel chowder, highly recommend!
Thoroughly deserves its rating! Great fresh seafood and attentive service in a gorgeous space. Stunning whitebait see pic, a lovely skate wing and delicious sea bass made for an unexpectedly excellent lunch. Suggest booking ahead just to be sure as it was busy on a late October Saturday lunch!
Excellent and fresh food. Lots of great fish dishes as well as good options for those who don't like fish. The people who run it are lovely and accommodating. Would recommend to anyone, especially families. Try to book if you can as it can get busy
