Great shop, great staff! It's a very good shop, and very large overall. I'm honestly amazed at how big this store is in Newtown. The click and collect is very friendly to use - the staff are great and very convenient parking for Click and Collect. Highly recommended to visit
An adequate supermarket with a fishmonger, butcher and bakery in store. There is also a small cafe near the checkouts. The store can get very busy at times, but the car park is generally large enough to cope. Prices at the petrol station are fairly competitive.
Very dissatisfied today when i went to ask for a wheelchair to take a member of my family to the cafe. Only to be told they didn't have one as it had been stolen and the one secured by lock and key wasnt operational. Shame on you.
Very friendly and helpful staff and a very clean store. Have been most impressed by the baby changing facilities as there spacious, well equipped and very easy to access.
Great selection of food even in the free from section. And a bonus voucher for a free hot drink in the cafe
Stopped in for breakfast while passing through Newtown the Cafe staff are nice and helpful, I orders the little breakfast ...Sausage,bacon,beans,hash browns and 2 toast, All cooked to perfection ...even the egg was spot on and all at a good price £5.40 inc the coffee this Morrison's also has a petrol station on site.
Always good choice of fruit and vegetables at reasonable prices. Also good cheese, fish and cold meats on fresh counters. Good cafe too. Update September 2022 Seems to have gone into cost savings excersise. Only two staffed checkouts open. Tried self scan for a big shop of £135 but absolutely useless system. Bagging area two small, keeps going wrong and needed someone standing there most of the time. Lack of friut and veg and now no paper bags for loose items. Several item's of goods missed priced on the shelves. The attitude of the management surprisingly offhand. Definitely seems that Morrisons are cutting corners and staff. Will be trying local competition next time we shop in Newtown.
My favorite for Meat and sea food, excellent cafe.
I spoke to customer service just now and they advised me the ‘ make your own pizza ‘ was open and she had just spoken to the duty manager. I arrived at the store I’m not from the area to be told by a young man that he isn’t going to make me one as there is no ingredients we’ll go to the shelf. Your a food store irrespective of this. The duty manager said it was open for orders. Not impressed. Thankfully not from The area. Otherwise I’d never come again. What a waste of 20mile. Also there fuel was 3p more than Tesco.
