Had to use this bank yesterday what a nightmare I truely feel for those who have to use it regularly! 1 man on door / enquiry service who to be fair was friendly enough and 1 on the counter. No wonder it's so slow and thequeues are outside are so long.... I queried this,as there are 3 counters.Got told had H&S assessment and this is what was advised. So I said sorry but you have your own customers and RBS customers as this bank & RBS have merged & RBS in Cleveleys had now closed and H&S deem it ok to only have 1 counter in use. I said if you use the counter at each end you could double the speed and half the customers wait times etc. Apparently they can't do this as counter 1 is too near to a door we use and counter 3 would be to near to the cash machine. So asked why they don't just put screens up either side then it would eradicate that problem.... to which a lady appeared behind the counter and said 'We use that door' ?? So put a screen up and you can still use that door. Other places banks post office next door manage to run an efficient service without the need of using only 1 staff member. Wouldn't say it was a nice experience, gloomy inside, even the cashier was sombre.... hopefully I will be able to manage without the need to attend again!
Sad to say after only a few visits from RBS closing down bank could not keep up with customer from both Banks, if they had possibly moved to the old RBS looked larger. Had to go in today waiting 18 minutes with only 2 before me, then 15 waiting after went in only 1 counter open, even with 2 others closed not counter usage, lack of staffing, management Need to review
Fantastic staff, cope superbly due to lack of for amount of customers, always busy. Long queues, pointless visit if in a rush. No other branch in surrounding areas, like Fleetwood, Bispham, Poulton the list of closed branches apears to be endless, however, the staff are superb.
This bank is always busy just before opening especially on Mondays. It always was busy, but since restrictions came in, people will start queueing about 9:30. Other banks have started opening at 9:30 and closing at 3:30. I don’t understand why NatWest have to be different, opening at 10:00 and closing at 3:00.
This branch is doing it's very best in forcing their customers to do online banking, went on a monday 10mins before opening and counted 19 people waiting in front of me,after an hour i managed to get in.I know these are troubling times we are going through but noticing less queues outside other banks/building societies I'm seriously thinking of changing banks.
The wait time in this branch is shocking , not everyone likes online banking so stop forcing it onto them.
