I wanted to put some money into my account and I was told that they didn't have any coin facilities. I was advised to go to a post office instead. I've never come across a bank where you can't put money into your account? It's like going to a cashpoint and not be able to take money out of a cash machine.
Called in a couple of times this week to close/open accounts. Although I had not booked appointments I was seen to quickly. Bradley was a credit to the company, professional and approachable. Thanks.
Just driven all the way from St Anne's to put some money into my account only to find both paying in machines out of order. Very poor considering the bank has just opened up for business. Last month the ATM kept my card and I had to phone to cancel and order a new one. 10 years with the same bank I think it's time now to move my business to a more reliable bank.
Went in there to withdraw money, there was only one staff working, nearly waited a hour to be called there were long queue behind me us well. VERY VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
I have never experienced this level of customer service at HSBC Jamie Hellemink is incredibly professional and very pleasent to deal with.
Both Jamie and Louise deserve a raise at this branch. They helped me to no end in opening an account here when I was really stuck as I had no photo ID. Service was excellent Attitudes and Politeness were excellent all round service was professional. They may not have counter service anymore which can be a pain, but all services are still there to do what you need. Thanks again guys.
First time visiting HSBC today. My partner and I wanted to open a joint account after moving into a our first home together. I was met with an older lady clearly eating her lunch underneath her mask. I explained to her that I wanted to open a joint account and we were struggling to do it online. She said you can only open an account online and there is nothing she can do. I repeated we were really struggling online and we needed help. She said there is nothing we can do. I will not be returning there again. Hopefully other people reading this will save there time to not go there in the future. What a shame as it looks a nice bank and quite close to our new home.
This would have been a two if it wasn't for how great the cashier Michelle Anderson was I thought she really went the extra mile for me today when I had to set up a phone banking ID number she was really nice and made sure I understood everything and gave me her card so I would be able to ask her for help if I needed it rather than explaining it to someone else again so yeah she single handedly raised it from a poor review to a good one I say that because I think in general the service is very slow at this bank there can be loads of staff walking round but only one cashier on and a line of people in front of you that never seems to move also a couple of months ago it said it was closing at 2pm and because of the corona virus they were only letting people in a few at a time well I had a emergency and desperately needed to see a cashier I showed up at the bank at 1:30pm and the rather nasty woman on the door told me that I wouldn't be able to see a cashier today because by the time they got through the people already in the bank it would be past closing time I literally had to beg her in the end she said stand at one side and we'll see if we have time they left me stood outside in the freezing cold until about 1:55pm even though other people had come out and they weren't over full they did see me in the end I thought it was a disgusting way to treat a customer of over 25 years who had shown up half an hour before closing time really disgraceful the way the woman on the door behaved she should spend some time with Michelle she would learn a few things the difference today was like chalk and cheese so thanks again Michelle.
If you like your bank without a human being to recieve cash and zero facility to accept coins with a side of no one cares, this is the place for you. Why does it even exist any more? Genuinely got reffered to the post office as they couldn't offer me previously offered services.
Handy car park. No counter. Nearest HSBC with a counter is a half mile walk to a bus stop then a 50 minute bus ride away. And the same coming back. Almost an afternoons expedition. Almost as if they don't want customers.
