I purchased my Dell laptop from this company 4 years ago and called my contact Simon Powell to discuss the grinding slow performance after 4 years of daily use. The first thing he suggested was to change the HD for an SSD rather than buy a new laptop, although he provided a very competitive quote for that too. So I thought I would try that and I have to say that the effect has been amazing. Admittedly I have gone one step further and changed to Windows 7 Pro 64 bit while I was at it, but even on the original 3Mb of RAM the laptop now performs twice as fast as when it was new. I shall be increasing the RAM next and hope to keep the laptop for another 4 years. But when I need a new one it will definitely be purchased from Astringo.
