It's very tiny place, but nonetheless a great community gathering by the people I met there and also a nice social community and welcoming.
Lovely little city park where you can rest on a bench with a sandwich or a drink, book a court and have a game of tennis or play basketball with your friends. This place is well looked after with plenty of shade. Perfect for a lunch break or a bit of social exercise.
I've just booked the tennis court for the next eight days and it was really expensive!
Pleasant and relaxing open space, lots of greenery and nice to chill out with family/friends. A great lunch time location, on the city's doorstep and close to shops/restaurants/pubs. The tall trees offer lots of shaded areas for those looking to escape direct sunshine. Has a number of comfortable wooden benches plotted around, and multi-purpose sports court available for the more energetic. Not sure if there's a booking protocol.
Nice park with plenty of benches and diverse characters. Basketball court and separate tennis court. Both away from eachother with plenty of bins nearby.
A lovely little park space in the middle of bustling Hackney. Tennis courts, basketball 2 nets, and a nice grass area surrounded by big benches. Tree cover from the sun/rain is available if patchy. Sat waiting for my Mother to finish her appointment at Moorfields Eye Clinic 7 mins walk, watched the lads play a little basket, and otherwise watched the world go peacefully by. At one corner there is a small grocery store, and further round the corner, a decent looking chippy / sandwich bistro interesting fusion, I didn't try so check for others that may have reviewed; next door to a nice pub with ample outdoor seating for when the weather permits just a pint of cola for the driver, but a fair selection appeared available. I hope, as. always, I've been of help to someone; I hope you have the best life you can.
This is a tiny park that I always cut through instead of walking along the road. There are often people playing tennis, basketball or practising their tumbling there's a circus skills school nearby. It's pretty modest but a nice place to pass half an hour among squirrels and birds.
A pleasant park area with tennis and basketball court. Plenty of seating and grass area to stop and sit down. Quiet and peaceful when I visited in the mid morning.
Good condition tennis court, you get to play with some privacy as there is only one court. Be aware of the weather as it is surrounded by nature and it takes longer to dry if rains some time close to your booking. There are no artificial lights, but they normally only allowed you to book until when they consider that will be enough brightness for you to play depending on the time of the year, of course.
It's more as a playground for adults than botanical gardens. One can chill on the grass , or on the bench. A nice court for teens to enjoy the basketball.
