Was in junction one store about 4 weeks ago. Spent about half an hour trying on different footwear and as your brand is new to me, found the shoe type explanation displayed a little confusing to understand. Two members of staff the whole time never once appoched me or other customers. Instead spent the whole time chatting to eachother at the till. Is this an ASICS store thing were the staff don't approach you until you ask for assistance?? As the same thing happened today too!!.
Good shop, helpful staff, good selection of quality trainers. Only thing is they dont have the latest model shoes as they r an outlet so u can just get the second latest ones which are a good bit cheaper than the new model..i liked mine anyway lol
Train your staff. Unbelievably poor service. Bought a pair of Asics trainers today at ASICS in Junction One. I noticed that the 3 members of staff stood chatting & ignored every customer including myself I tried on 4 pairs of trainers in front of them -utter indifference to the 8 or more potential customers around them. When I went to the til to purchase my trainers, I wasn’t asked a single question about how I got on, I didn’t even get a smile. Who is training these staff?? If I was the manager I would fire the lot. Just not good enough.
so nice to get great service. called into the store today the male assistant was really friendly and gave both myself and my hubby good info and advice on the most suitable trainers for us. my size wasn't available and he tried another outlet for me. we will definitely be back
I am a keen runner and always used the big brand names. While in Antrim I tried the ASICS store. On entering I was approached a gentleman his name was Marcus. He was extremely helpful and offered his expert advice as he also ran marathons and was a keen runner. His help, advice and patience was second to none. I didn't feel rushed and he helped me as best as he could. Very curtious and knowledgeable. A lot of stores can't offer this. Thanks Marcus I'll definitely be returning and recommending my friends 10/10
I was in junction one last week , was recommended to ask for Marcus as apparently he is a runner and keen Athlete! I’ve recently just taken up running and Marcus found me the perfect trainers ! I was a little nervous about going in but he made me feel so at ease , I absolutely loved his manner and customer service . Can’t wait to visit again and don’t mind driving the 50 odd miles just to visit this store . Thanks again
Decent range of items. Prices for last year's running shoes are good value, if they have your size. Staff helpful enough but were definitely a bit short handed when I was in two weeks before Christmas.
I don't believe l have been in this store before today. That said l feel it was bright and airy, staff tidy in appearance, inquiring if they could help without being overbearing and allowing one time to choose. All sale goods were well displayed.The coloured lighting complimented particular goods and items it had discounted. This sports shop should do well the Christmas, we live in a very competitive marketplace.
I would grade them no stars if I could - WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! I feel traumatised by the whole experience. I bought shoes from this store for my son and the sole split within a week. When I took them back to the shop, the male shop assistant, was unpleasant and accusatory and said that the fault was mine. My son was simply walking on a flat surface when the heel came off the shoe . The assistant, Marcus, was rude and dismissive, proceeding to serve the people in the queue behind me while completely ignoring me. His intimidatory behaviour to a woman on her own with a child was inexcusable: Asics should be embarrassed and ashamed that a loyal customer should be treated this way in one of their stores.
Went to buy new trainers on Saturday and very nearly bought the wrong ones, the very helpful staff member Marcus took time to ensure I bought the correct trainers! Excellent customer service and I will definitely go back. I will recommend others to try the store and to ask for assistance from Marcus! Delighted with my new purchase. Thank you
