Lovely friendly welcome, family feel. Delicious, home made free cake, log burner and honesty bar in the shared lounge. Rooms ample and cosy. Beautiful surroundings and plenty of places to eat and drink within walking distance. Will definitely return!

Beautiful old house and tasty breakfast. A warm welcome also. Not so great to have to go into the corridor to get to my bathroom and pay the same as other guests who have an en suite however.

Spent two nights there. Absolutely lovely staff. Great breakfast, free cake and an honesty bar. The room was lovely too.

Very warm welcome. Excellant free cake. Breakfast equally as good.Great honesty bar. Lovely room .Fantastic location.Certainly would recommend accomadation to family and friends.

We stayed in one of the suites at Ashfield House over Easter holiday weekend. It was an excellent choice. The staff where helpful and friendly, the location was perfect and the food provided especially the leg of lamb was the best I have ever tasted. Without doubt when we visit the Yorkshire Dales in the future we will stay as Ashfield House.
