Town council not tending it now. It's been given to a contractor that can have 3 men leaf blowing... on a windy day!! I kid you not. Or driving a lawn cutting tractor on a rain sodden green causing deep ruts. No overseer obviously. Good for walking the 🐕 if it's not wet. Waste bins not big enough.

Took my 4 year old son to play on the equipment at the park. He likes the slide so he had fun on that. But the rubber matted floor is damaged in quite a few areas, there is dog pop around on the floor, I saw three that I cleaned up, the snow board type thing on chain is missing just leaving poles that can easily move and could injure a bigger child if they climbed on it, there was rubbish all around the place. I picked some up with my son and made it into a game. But made sure I could see what he was picking up as you can't be too safe these days. Shame really, but I guess this park gets neglected as there's the bigger one at the top.

Nice park. Good for dog walking and children's play. Tennis courts available. Refreshments available.

Lovely place to visit with kids because of the massive space to run around and there are two nice playgrounds to choose from.
