I did my usual Thursday morning shop today18 July on reaching the checkouts I could see there were 2 checkouts open, there was a small queue at each of them but minutes after joining the queue there was more than 20 in the queues, looking across, there was 4 operatives standing in the self service area not doing much, but instead of sending someone to the checkouts, 2 were sent on their break, I suppose it didn’t look as bad with only 2 not doing much. I’m sure this is the stores way of forcing people into using the self serve checkouts, but it ain’t working

Once again the cafe staff have completely forgotten our order, this has happened 4 or 5 times now. How hard is it really? Unbelievably poor service!!nUpdate, still an awful experience with staff that just couldn’t care less, order wrong, coffee machine doesn’t work, terrible customer service from a huge supermarket chain. If you interview people for the jobs can you ask someone better to do it because your current interviewer clearly can’t be trusted.

Edit.... its amazing how 1 person can turn a 1 star review to a 5 star review.nI went into the branch to do the shopping that hadn't been delivered , unwell and frustrated, I paid for my shop and then  stopped at the customer service desk on my way out to speak to the manager, the frustration got the better of me and i got upset so i left whilst she was away checking in the Internet order com area, shecame out the car park looking for me, got me to park bavk up and brought me back into the store. She went above and beyond to make sure i left feeling listened to and actually talked me through what has happened. Thank you!! I'm so sorry i didnt get your name **Ordered express delivery between 12 and 1pm, it didn't arrive but I got an email saying it had been delivered at 1.04 so I called customer service and was told the driver is busy but is on his way, rang back at 1.30, sorry, driver has just collected, it'll be with you by 2, rang at 2.10 was hung up on , rang just now at 2.55 and was told sorry we cancelled your delivery,  don't worry, we'll refund it and as a good will gesture we'll refund the price of delivery too! Absolute liars and idiots! Wasted 3 hours waiting for a delivery that wasn't coming! And Hadnt been cancelled and hadnt been refunded***

I popped in on my way home and had to use the toilet. Never again. 3 cabins in ladies toilet,two had broken lock, flush not working,so full of toilet paper and things, third one not usable due to the state it was in. I mean all three were dirty, and how can you justify that? I never saw toilets in such a bad state. Management should be ashamed.

Online orders are an absolute joke. One driver took it upon himself to text my personal number at midnight and whatsapp and asda never bothered to follow up the complaint .  Disgusting.
