A large supermarket, with a wide variety of fresh food produce, which is always good. It was well stocked on my visit. The store was fairly untidy, many of the aisles had products on the floor or misplaced items. Although it was fairly busy with shoppers, I did not have to queue, when it came to making my purchases at the self-service checkout. It was good to see a member of staff present there to assist you, if required. It is open 24 hours on most week days. Weekend days are subject to different opening times. This branch has ATM's located outside and Timpsons.
I had a really disappointing experience at the Scan and Go section. One of the staff members was incredibly rude and unprofessional. When I asked for her name, she outright refused to introduce herself, which I found both disrespectful and concerning. Thankfully, her manager Tisha was present and seemed much more approachable and professional. I truly hope Tisha takes the time to have a serious conversation with this employee about customer service
Honestly EVERY SINGLE time I go to this place there is at least one member of staff who either doesn’t know how to treat customers or hates their job and takes it out on you! I try to avoid this place and started shopping else where years ago but even when I pop in once in a blue moon they still have the same rude people working there who have zero customer service and think they are the store manager and have such a bad attitude considering they work in a place that has thousands pass through the door weekly! Definitely more staff training needed!
I bought chicken from the halal section, and it had a terrible smell even though it was not expired. I thought it was just a coincidence and another day bought chicken wings, but they were also spoiled and looked like a breeding ground for bacteria. I don't know about other Asda branches, but the employees, Ramada and Nimula, at this branch made disrespectful comments like 'If you’re not happy, don’t come to Asda again,' and refused to accept their mistakes. I will never go back. Terrible in both staff behavior and product quality. Stay away.
The selection of products and quality of this store has gone down it used to be really good.nnAlso security constantly hassle you I went to buy some batteries but they didn't have the one's I needed. I went to leave the alarm went off and was accused of theft.
