Good selection of products, usually find a parkings space, staff have always been polite and helpful.nnMy most recent visit I was behind quite a few people with trolleys full of shopping and the self service was down, a young lady walked past me saw I only had 1 item and took me straight to the little till near the entrance.
Dear M&S Team at Whetstone:nnI wish to bring to your attention a serious hygiene issue I encountered again during my recent shopping trip at your store. I was quite disturbed to see that the checkout staff handled my bread directly with unwashed hands while wearing knitted gloves. This practice not only violates basic sanitary and hygienic laws but also poses a significant health risk, particularly to customers with compromised immune systems.nnHandling food with dirty, knitted gloves can be a potential source of foodborne illnesses or worse. Customers’ bread should not be touched and removed from packaging. I urge you to immediately review and enforce your hygiene protocols, ensuring that checkout staff do not touch or remove bread from its packaging at the till unless they are wearing clean gloves suitable for food handling.nnThank you for your prompt attention to this critical matter.
Good shop with a list of products in a very medium sized shop. Polite staff who are able to help out. Would recommend.
Far too many people in store right now and impossible to socially distance. Woman on bakery with mask not covering her nose as the law dictates, and young man on self-service tills not wearing one a all.
This M&S was very tidy, full of stock with many reduced items which was nice to see and had self service checkout along with a few normal tills open! It’s a bit shop so there’s fridge/freezer food, a bakery and normal household items as well. Finding a good deal at M&S always is nice to see so it was a good visit today! I’ve been here a few times and this has been my experience every time.
