Management is shocking and is not very helpful. Great staff who help however hardly anyone there and when you do try and speak to them they pretend your not there and walk off. In addition to this when I had my own experience with a manager as I requested to speak to one the member of staff thought it was hilarious when I wanted to make a serious complaint regarding a product I had purchased. Disgusting customer service and shocking management avoid at all costs

Pizza section is fab, if a little slow. A lot of selection of goods under one roof. Really enjoy a good mooch about in here at least once a week. 24 hour mostly too.

Massively understaffed on shop floor. If you need help prepare to hunt for someone and then wait while they find help. Self service tills are again, under staffed. A fault, or some other reason why the till requires you need a staff member, means you're stood like a prat for ages waiting for help. Worse still is the new scan as you shop tills miles away from the other self serviced tills. If you need help up here or the till picks you for random stop check (no red light flashes etc) 8/10 times there's no one available to help. I then have to go on the hunt for help. This defies the object of self service, especially when it's clear that customers using manned tills, adjacent to the scan as you shop area, are clearly getting their shopping processed quicker than you! Another weird thing, since around the middle of this year, is how many of the store's shelves appear empty or at least low on stock. It's actually putting me off going. If you do manage to find help to see if something is in stock, despite empty shelves, the staff 7/10 come back with what you wanted. So, they have the stock but it's not out. No wonder it's not uncommon to find customers climbing the shelves to get to some of the store's stock on top of shelving. Recently the fresh bread is always under baked. Especially bread sticks. In particular the Tiger Stick, the inside, can be rolled out by hand back to raw dough. Up until even a year ago this store was excellent. However, everything seems changed with changes beginning to impact on every shopping visit. I find I'm hunting for help, at various stages of my shop, on EVERY VISIT.

As ever..... No diesel. No semi skimmed milk. No 1st class stamps. Another outstanding effort from asda!!!

Never seem to have fully stocked shelves, half of the self service checkouts never seem to work, massively understaffed, items regularly in the wrong place on shelves so displaying the wrong price, only ever seem to have one payment booth open for petrol at the busiest times, staff on checkouts appear to preffer engaging in conversation rather than attending to customers. I've given up on wasting my time with Asda Runcorn and now shop at Tesco Helsby.
