Used this petrol station since moving to Barrhead. Always competitively priced
New pumps allow contactless payment. Only pay at pump is allowed as there is no shop area.
It's handy, but has recently become one of the more expensive stations in our area, including other branches of Asda. Could do with a revamp to get more modern pumps in with contactless payment and more reliable. Often doesn't print receipts.nOnce had to use the intercom to request help with a pump issue. Despite several calls no staff ever came down.
Often times pumps are closed or the whole petrol station is closed. The car cleaning bay offers almost nothing other than water and a bit of shampoo. The “hot” water brush offers cold water with a few drops of shampoo, enough to make the car look foamy but not much else. The wheel cleaning solution is also as useful as spraying the wheels down with pure water.nnIf you need a quick splash you may feel it’s a good idea but I wouldn’t fill up there regularly.
