This isn't by any stretch the biggest Asda I've ever been in but it is the biggest supermarket in Conwy County so if you're in the area and you find that you need a flat screen TV, an Iron Maiden t-shirt, a fresh pizza, a bottle of wine and an aubergine and you want to buy them all under one roof then this is the place you need. I also has the usual things you expect in an Asda such as a pharmacy, cafe and photo processing.nnIf you're not familiar with this place then one issue to consider is that there's only one road in and out which is accessed via a busy traffic light controlled junction. At peak times it can be very difficult to get out and you can expect a long queue to escape. Most of the time it's ok though.
I think Asda provides excellent service and has a very friendly and helpful team. We visit regularly for our day-to-day shopping, and the staff are always welcoming, polite, and ready to assist. The store is well organised, and our overall experience has been very positive. This is my personal opinion based on my own experience, and I appreciate the great service provided by the staff.
Nice big store on the outskirts of Llandudno town centre. The store is clean but I found a lot of the shelves were empty or lacking in supplies and the clothing section looked messy. The check out area was tidy and the self service tills well manned. There is a decent amount of parking for the store as well, with up to 4 hrs free.
What a spectacular breakfast experience — truly a masterclass in doing less for more.nnOrdering breakfast without toast, one might naïvely assume, would simply mean less food on the plate. But no, this establishment has brilliantly reinvented economics by charging an extra £1 for the privilege. At that rate, I could have gone to the shop, bought an entire loaf of bread, and probably still had enough left over to ask them to toast it for me.nnThe portions were impressively stingy — perfect for anyone hoping to enjoy the thrill of paying full price for what resembles a rationed snack. And the flavour? Astonishingly absent. It takes genuine effort to produce a breakfast so completely devoid of taste.nnSpecial mention must go to the tomatoes, which were not so much “grilled tomatoes” as what appeared to be a spoonful emptied straight from a tin, casually placed on the plate with all the finesse of a rushed pantry raid.nnTo complete the experience, there were no tissues and no forks available — essentials that apparently require advanced notice or a special application process. Asking for them felt like I had just requested something wildly unreasonable, rather than basic cutlery and napkins expected at any breakfast table.nnOverall, a wonderful option if you enjoy tiny portions, extra charges for less food, canned tomatoes, and the thrilling challenge of eating a breakfast while simultaneously trying to locate basic utensils.
Great store. Always clean and well stocked. Staff very helpful even for my adult son with learning disability. Good parking. Great clothes and home section
