Check out staff are helpful and professional. Staffing at the service counter at busy times needs to be improved, frustrating when one employee is serving and another socially chatting with the same customer and five people waiting on a number of visits. Another issue is customers paying for basketfuls of groceries when there are other means for purchasing such available. Frustrating when you need assistance at the trolley and/or basket facility and three or four "Happy to help" staff members are not focused on their job in hand. I don't expect a response to what is a negative review based on my experiences of more than ten visits.
Can we be trusted to get our own carrier bags yet? I promise we will all try to be better customers and not just shop elsewhere......
Seems an overall poorly stocked store, shelve are more often than not bare with stock, pizza counter usually closing earlier despite a huge sign showing the opening and closing times to be told by the guy “it’s an old sign” yet it’s still up there, not great when you call on your way home 30 minutes before it’s due to close to find it’s already closed earlier.
Bought a casserole dish from here. It broke in my oven with dinner inside it. Made a complaint and had to have my oven cleaned due to the spillage it caused. Had a letter back this morning saying it wasn't a faulty product. Saying their must have been a hairline fracture in the dish , and due to change in temperature was the onlu possible cause it broke. Surly a casserole dish should endure temperature change.
Quality has really gone down while the price has doubled.. but Asda was bought by two corrupt petrol station chain owners last year.. Running it into the ground.
The shortage of small trolleys in this store is a disgrace and as a result, it's usually a last resort. When I asked why they had so few I was told that they can't get any. If that's the case, how come Sainsbury, Morrisons and Tesco can. My wife can't reach inside the big ones but asda don't care because they used to have loads but took them away to encourage you to buy more. I'v just been now and early in the morning there's some about and when I went into the store, the only trolleys other customers had were small ones, so come on asda, give the customers what they want and stop being greedy
DREADFUL shop! Disgrace to the Walmart and Asda brand and name! Terrible customer service and extremely rude and disrespectful staff! Place needs an overhaul of staffing or closing down !
I have been going to this Asda almost all my life but I only need a small trolley and it has now become so hard to find one that I can guarantee every time that I go that I will be walking around the car park for at least 5 minutes looking for one. I usually have to wait for someone to come out of the shop and follow them to their car and then have to listen to them tell me how they had to do the same. They have plenty of large trolleys because I feel like the want to trick people into buying more. I can't do this any more. I dread going here so I will have to shop at any of the other supermarkets in the area where there are always plenty of small trolleys. It sounds silly but I've done it for so long it's now become a deal breaker for me and I'm so sick of it. The last time I went, the trolley I did get was broken and I had to pull hard across the car park as the wheel boot was clamped down and scraped across the tarmac.
I bought a 24 pack of tinned Winalot dog food on 23 june at £16.50. 12 days later on the 5 july it had gone up to 20.65. Asda is the only supermarket that stocks it. How the hell can they justify an increase of £4.15. I will never shop there again.
Early this morning I was served by a wonderful lady on the customer service counter. I think her name was Margaret? I'm sorry if I'm wrong.. She was super friendly and very helpful, a credit to your store... Thankyou Miss Margaret x
