Clean large store, some items s nit available compare to a larger store. Busy all the time. Staff could be more friendly, toilets are clean and well kept. Toilet availability for all sort, and the restaurant is fine, but not five star.
Pretty big store. Can't compare the prices as I was from out of the country. Prices seems decent when compared to cad$. They had everything from cloths, shoes, food, drinks etc One stop shopping. A very variety of fresh and frozen products and an amazing variety of alcoholic drinks and very good prices compared to Canada. Best of all no tax and no deposit. Check it out
Wouldn't book delivery with this store again. Had an order placed for delivery last night which didn't turn up. Delivery driver didn't even have the decency to call to let me know or to rearrange. I rang them twice today and was cut off by a worker named Ajay. Customer service were very helpful, but were lied to by the driver saying they couldn't find the address when they have delivered here before. No decency and they are so unprofessional. Staff at this store need training in customer service skills. Will be sticking to the Fosse Park and Oadby store from now on
Plenty of self-checkouts but no good for carrying out a large shop. Used one of the 5 assisted checkouts but had to queue for quite some time as only 3 of the 5 were open! On a Saturday lunchtime, really?? Wished I'd given Tesco my £206 instead. I won't be returning.
Very impressed with the optical staff today, took my son for his first eye test. i explained he has adhd, was a little worried we wouldnt be able to do it today but we got the eye test done all the optical team were excellent with him. Many thanks to you all.
I absolutely love love love the staff who work in the cafe They are soooooo friendly and welcoming and happy. Great service with a smile. Well done cafe.
One of the best place to shop all under one roof. I do recommend it to all my family members and friends. Nice and tidy! Everything are perfect on good prices! Thumbs Up!
You can smell them before you see them. Had the unfortunate need to used asda’s customer toilets on a Tuesday afternoon, disgusting.
Manager is ok. Staff and security are unbelievable and their behaviour is disgraceful. Can’t believe we can’t buy things in store even for a big family.huh?
I’m shocked by all these horrific comments to be honest. I’m a regular customer for this store never other Asda stores as normally they’re too big and uncomfortable to shop around. I like the layout, the ambience is comfortable not too loud or overbearing and the staff are always so friendly. The ladies at the tills always ask about my children even if I don’t have them with me, and once the security man even stayed with my car until I returned as my child’s door wasn’t shut properly! The toilet facilities are useful as I normally have two infants with me. They have double trolleys for twins which is excellent and so appreciated as many supermarkets fail on this point. The cafe is clean and friendly. The begging issue is true, though when I spoke with a homeless man he was pleasant and very grateful to what I offered him. Whilst it is uncomfortable I can’t say I agree that the store should manage this matter by moving the man on. Perhaps by allowing homeless people to beg at the door is the store’s way of supporting vulnerable adults that need the opportunity to reach out to those who are able to donate?! Ultimately, this store is a pleasant one and the staff are very kind and supportive. I shop there because of them. I didn’t use Asda until this store opened and felt instantly nicer than other larger versions in nearby towns.
