Ordered from Amazon tried to collect on Monday and Asda locker system was down. Las day of collecting was Sunday so went there 4:30pm to which lady told me we r closed and Asda closed 5pm. I insist I need today as can’t be back and forth. To which she relied system was not down for week as if I am liarI told her I lying in polite way to which she called security and security her self confirmed that system was down earlier this week..Asked serving lady name and she replied she won’t give name because I’m complaining…. Really feel very much insultedn.nnDefinitely will calm my self now as it was just before few minutes . And going to complain as highest authorities as I can as it’s feel very insulted.nShameful incident happened around 4:40pm 05/01/2025 so u can check camera near collection point and also was speaking to security .
This is an update to my review from over one year ago.nThe ASDA superstore on Abbey Lane in Leicester offers a comprehensive shopping experience with a wide range of products, including groceries, clothing, and electronics.nThe store also features a well-maintained little restaurant, clean restrooms, a bakery, and parcel collection points. The extensive clothing section and the regular introduction of new items add to the shopping appeal.nA key convenience is the petrol station, which often offers the lowest fuel prices in town, though it is only open until 10 PM while the store is open. Additionally, there is a charging station for electric vehicles in one corner of the car park, but be aware that the maximum free stay is up to 3 hours.nWhile the store itself is large and well-maintained, the entrance to the car park has deteriorated this year, with many potholes requiring urgent attention. This issue detracts from the overall positive shopping experience, resulting in one star being taken off for the car park entry. Action is required to address this problem promptly.nUpdate 27/07/24 I would like to add that carpark has been fixed with new lines and smooth tarmac. Well done, Asda.
Tall security guard actet like a street thug definitely not trained properly went into buy a lottery ticket first then had a quick look around .they were clearly seeing what I was doing with there cameras just because I didn't buy anything they ordered me search my bag.nBoth of security needs to go back to the training school.
Can't believe how the prices add up in this place. Its shocking. Came out with 2 bags of food for £70ncompared to 4 bags from Morrisons that cost me £56. How is it always more expensive here?! My mind boggles. So, sorry Asda it's turrah from me and mine
£8 for kids sized adult breakfast is bad value for money. Bathroom was disgusting and strong smelling odours. Avoid cafe and bathrooms.
