Convenient store, especially love the self scan. The prices are not always reasonable here but the selection of items is good.nLove the halal meat counter, the marinated meat and chicken are fantastic.
Ladies on self checkout come across a bit racist. Really hoping that’s not the case but they will be kinder and more accommodating to their own. When I said hello to one of them as she came to approve my transaction I got ignored. When I said thank you I got a dirty look. She didn’t come over right away either she was speaking in her native language to another member of staff as they looked at me blankly and kept me waiting a couple of minutes.
This place likes to have their arrogant stsff assume you're a thief who hasn't scanned a 40p plastic bag on the self checkout, bad enough that I have to bag and scan my own shopping because no tills are open but thats twice now the attendant comes over to scroll up my list of shopping to check that I scanned the 40p bag, which I had. I am not a thief and I don't like the attitude of these people to assume I am one, so thanks for profiling me as a thief who steals carrier bags you can have a 1 star review for it.
Driver stole my shopping — £15 voucher isn’t good enough. If I could rate it as 0 stars I would.nnI placed an express grocery order with Asda Oadby for an 5-6 slot and they used an Uber driver who never delivered my items. No call, no knock, no delivery photo — just marked as delivered and vanished. I genuinely believe the driver stole my shopping.nnI had to call customer service multiple times just to get a basic response. Asda’s response? A £15 voucher and a 5-day wait for a refund. No accountability, no investigation, and no consequences for the driver. Meanwhile, I’m out of pocket and left without the essentials I paid for, for my family .nnIf you offer express delivery and outsource it to a third party, you should take full responsibility when things go wrong. For a stolen order, failed express delivery OR DELIVERY AT ALL and all the stress I went through? That’s a joke. There’s zero accountability, no urgency, and no consequence for the driver or the failure in service. Honestly, I won’t be ordering from Asda EVER again.
Nice place to do shopping, staff is ok too just like any other supermarket, they have plenty of parking space so no issue of finding parking up there. All in one shop Asda . I have visited there many time to shop and my experience is fine. They have guideline there for Covid but not enforced just things are there to clean if you want otherwise did not see anyone dedicated to ensure that guidelines are being followed at least in my observation.
