Having been away for the weekend I thought I would pop into the store yesterday morning at about 10 o'clock and do my weekly shop instead of driving to Truro from Falmouth. I quickly realised that things had changed since my last visit and I now needed a coin to release a trolley. As I didn't have either a coin or a token as I use Apple Pay, I went to the Customer Services to see if they could help. I explained my predicament and was told that there was nothing she could do to help. She suggested waiting around outside to see the trolley collector as he might be able to do something. I didn't have the time or the inclination to wait around so I asked for a final time if the store could provide a trolley for me to place my shopping in and the answer was a clear NO. I promptly left the store and proceeded to Sainsbury's to spend my £150. I suggest if sales are important to you that the store gets some tokens to hand out to people in the same situation as myself to avoid loosing any more business.
Absolutely furious with this refurb thing they’re doing, turning customers away hours before their stated closing times. Asda are providing a service that is meant to be convenient and has been anything but lately - people will just go to their competitors and maybe not come back. Do renovations during all that bloody time you’re closed, not on our time when for some of us going in post 10pm is the only time of day that works. Utter twits.
Massive Asda store with a big car park. It has a petrol station as well.
On the 3rd of December about 3:45pm Me, my partner, my 2 yr old and elderly mum and dad, purchased about £300 worth of items between us. After we paid for it, I was searched by a rude man from the security team and he DID NOT ask to touch or search my trolley and my purchased belongings, of course that’s when they find out that we hadn’t stolen anything, the man that did search me laughed in my dads face when he confronted him after I was visibly confused and embarrassed, I’m a regular customer of Asda, my family didn’t deserve this treatment, we just wanted to buy some stuff for Christmas, I hope he gets sacked honestly. The man was middle aged, with glasses, graying hair and a bit over average weight.
I was stood at self service checkout with a red flashing light and 4 times was walked past by attendants, after the 2nd time I decided maybe they couldnt see the lights or perhaps hear me saying "excuse me" so I began holding up my arm. Eventually out of frustration I left my shopping and drove to Lidl just a short way down the road. There I was met with friendly and quick service. Thanks Lidl
Haven't been here for a few months. It made a change from shopping in Morrison's.. lots of different products to buy. I enjoyed my little shopping spree in there.
Imagine going to shop as ASDA 2 days before NYE and finding it out of stock of nearly every vegetable! It’s almost unthinkable! That’s exactly what happened tonight at 4:45pm. Very very poor planning. The manager of this store needs replacing !!! Off to another shop !!! Angry doesn’t come close.
Cafe staff rude and not helpful. Refused to serve hot food because they were due ro close in 20 minutes
I always buy more than planned because stuff is cheaper than elsewhere and they have great choice. Perfect place for kids clothing and shoes too.
Avoid cafe, they got the order wrong then basically just put the items onto a clean plate that still had beans on my toast and sausage, the breakfast was barely warm, the toast has only been shown the toaster, the egg was broken
