Had an awful experience here today and just want to warn anyone planning on shopping at the George department. I picked up a multipack of underwear that had been opened already it was the only size left in the colour I wanted only to be immediately accused of opening it and literally told off in front of all the other shoppers. Please educate your staff on customer service, I left the store mid panic attack with no concern shown from the staff member who caused it. I won’t be shopping here again. The staff member was not very tall, female looked to be 50s/60’s. I did get her name but I’m aware that you can’t post it
Today I was amazed at the customer service I received off a member of staff in the opticians named Karen L. Karen went up over and beyond with me .. She took her time and helped me choose 2 pairs of glasses and was very patient and understanding .. I was so relaxed in her company and I can honestly say that Karen is a credit to Asda and I will let all my family and friends know how fantastic Karen is at her job .. Thank you so much for caring and your remarkable service today .. I really appreciate your help ..
So there’s two entrances, the upstairs has a car park which is often closed but on the rare occasion that’s it’s open, you can enter this way; however, there’s isn’t an exit. There’s no one using the till and I just tell the person, that I’ve paid downstairs and they let me through. Today there was a couple paying, so I just asked the security guard if I could go through the emergency exit and he says “have you payed?” I’m carrying two bags, one of them from B&M, I payed downstairs, the absolute cheek Also the cleaning aisle is a joke, don’t even sell zoflora, half of it is laundry and air fresheners, no microfibre cloths, just asda own brands which is fair enough, but they should stock big brands
I went to asda huyton to the pharmacy I suffer with backpain so I don't walk around shops anymore unfortunately. I grabbed some bits from the chemist aisle and went to self checkout. A young fella came to me and asked if I was OK as I was in pain he offered me a chair if I needed to sit he was so nice and helpful. I asked his name when I had finished his name is Warren. Thank you Warren if needed full name and address can be provided
Your pharmacy is awful its disorganised staff can't find medication when you get there then tell you youv picked it up when you haven't. They don't know how much to charge you for your prescription and ring you and talk to you like its your fault and expect you to run back up there to put it right don't think so you can waite till my next visit like I had to wait for you to find my prescription
I gave up trying to find an item needed for a recipe. So continued with my shopping. Further on in the store I spoke to a staff member who was on the home shopping. She went out of her way to help me locate the item. We couldnt find it but she recommended an alternative item. I asked her name which was Suzanne. I thanked her. Suzanne went out of her way to help me.
Large Asda superstore which is open till late but not a 24 hour store. Well laid out spacious store. Has a large spacious car park, has cash points for convenience. Inside all the usual Asda grocery stuff you need from fresh fruits and vegetables, n confectionary, drinks, bakery amongst other things. Has self checkout section as well as plenty of tills. Friendly staff able to help you out when needed. Pleasant shopping experience with nice modern store.
Very dissapointed. Despite website setting out Asda commitment to sustainability this store has removed their facility to recycle plastic bags and used printer cartridges. Why?
Baileys was £ 10 for 75cl, its that in Sainsburys but for 1 litre. Hard to get a signal for Asda app, so miss out on vouchers
We have been waiting over 15 minutes in a queue to the till. Only two tills were open out of 8 or 10... I'm not sure how many tills they have... Meanwhile there were 6 ASDA employees in the self-checkout section doing nothing, they would not open any more tills for us, despite of being aware of the situation. After a while they were trying to lure people to the self-service checkouts and they were very pushy to those who didn't want to do it. Then, as there were still people coming to those 2 tills that were still open, they closed them, forcing people to do the self checkout. The staff were disrespectful and didn't listen to clients wishes and ignored requests to open the tills. They said they only did what they were told by managers. That is a clear agenda to get rid of normal tills, as they are not being used people have no chance to use them and to introduce cashless payments. absolutely disgraceful. I will avoid this shop at any cost.
