Just want to say how amazing Alicia and Gill were today. I had an incident with my Asda gift card, there must have been a system error where the till took my balance from the card but didn’t deduct it from the total, it left my card showing with a zero balance. This left me with a huge trolley of shopping and no alternative way of paying as we’d put our food shopping money on it to budget. We didn’t have enough to cover the balance so of course panicked! They were both so compassionate and understanding, they went above and beyond and couldn’t do enough for us. They apologised for the mishap, which wasn’t their fault, and even sorted us a goodwill gift card for some of the balance. They waited patiently while we sourced the money to pay, even with 3 overstimulated children who just wanted to go home! I’d never been so embarrassed in my life. They went above and beyond trying to call head office and the gift card line. They even checked my gift card statement and could see it was spent minutes before when I’d tried to pay but the till came up with an error. Honestly they couldn’t have done more for us, they were absolute superstars and I’m so grateful for the patience and compassion. I managed to sort the bill in the end, but they didn’t make me feel pressured at all. They’re both wonderful people, and are brilliant at their jobs. Thank you so much Alicia and Gill!
Massive Asda store with a very large car park, making it convenient for shopping even at busy times. It’s well located close to the town centre, which is handy.nnThe store has a wide range of departments including a pharmacy, toys, groceries, alcohol, and a bakery. There are also fresh food options like pizza, sushi, and freshly baked bread, which is great if you want something ready to eat.nnFacilities are good, with in-store toilets and a café available for a break during your shop.nnOverall, a well-stocked, convenient supermarket with plenty of choice under one roof.
Asda Grantham! You were a real treat to explore around. Lots of potatoes, not a lot of broccoli :- Fair amount of protein products we had not seen before, including protein yoghurt! Always a fair few boxes dotted around the floor of an Asda supermarket so that was no surprise… Sadly lots of empty boxes on the shelf that made the shop look untidy! I was extremely happy with the 4 pack of yorkshire puddings in the reduction section! A nice bakery as well :-
ASDA Grantham is a great place to buy cleaning products such as oven cleaner and washing-up liquid — affordable prices, good quality, and a wide selection. As Tidy CosyNest Home Services, a family-run business, it really helps me keep costs under control when purchasing essential cleaning supplies. Highly recommended
Pizzas made in the shop are a mess. Toppings are no where near the edge with very limited choice of pre made pizzas Frozen is a much better option the rubbish offered by asda, and much cheaper as price is steadily rising
