First time I’d had a terrible experience where one your staff member who was on a power trip fingered all my bakery I asked her to stop as I have ocd and autism am happy to show her was int he bags . So i doubt bag my item for meany reason when comes from the bakery Bear in mind that I court Nora virus two weeks ago after visiting Lidl . so on the self checkout it will go off if I double bag never have I ever had an issue before with staff and me double bagging . Anyway so everything I go from the bakery was the correct price I put 2 things in wrong but the price was the same and weight even stating it’s not the items, it’s the bags She didn’t listen put everything in again When there’s a massive queue behind me and even after doing that, and telling your staff member what the issue is the till still went off what a surprise . the new mini egg brownie I was told I had 2 well no as that’s how it came out on the bakery stand but Apparently, it was 2 If that’s the case, then they should be cut up before people start bagging them that’s not my problem or my fault . I felt like just leaving the store and leaving all my shopping ..:: a big deal was made out of nothing
I had a great shopping trip to Lidl today! The store was well-stocked with a wide range of quality products — fresh produce, household essentials, and some great seasonal finds. Everything was easy to find, and the checkout was quick and efficient.nnWhile prices have gone up a bit lately due to the general cost of living, Lidl still offers great value for money compared to many other supermarkets. The quality and variety of their products definitely make it worth it.nnOverall, a 5-star experience — clean store, friendly staff, and consistently reliable products. I’ll definitely keep coming back!
Unsociable and rude staff. Walking to self service at 9:30pm and was met by rude bloke who yelled for us to move from his tills and to self service… when it was obvious we already were. Understand wanting to rush a close, but being unprofessional isn’t a good look.
Lidl has very fresh fruit and vegetables. Good prices and fast service. I enjoy shopping here
The Lidl in town is great.. always clean, well-stocked and with good prices. However, it would really benefit from having self-service checkouts. Today there were only four tills open and long queues, with many people just buying a few items. Self-checkouts would make things much faster and help reduce waiting times. It would be a great improvement for the store!
