Management can't be bothered to staff tills properly any more, so always long lines even when quiet. Floor staff are quite happy to share their angst at store management when you chat to them. Edit: another Saturday, another queue half way around the store because the floor manager won't put enough people on tills. Staff say they have raised this but are ignored.
Had a very horrible experience recently. A customer accused me of jumping the que, which I was able to prove that I didn't. While calmly standing up for myself. A female member of staff walked up to within 2 feet of me, said I was getting to closeand threatened to have me thrown out of the store.
Parking is pretty awful, even on a week night.. the payment machines are super slow! It’s like there connected to the stone ages. Expect the parking experience to take at least 5 minutes.
Great range at reasonable prices. Sometimes there's issues with the parking meters and the queues can get quite big at peak times, but otherwise it's great. Staff are usually pretty friendly too.
Too much emphasis on self service check outs, not enough shop clerks on the tills, may have just 1 or 2 open with cues going down the isles which can be very stressful if you're doing a big weekly shop
Very bad experience while buying items they refused to give the items. Staffs were very rude . Poor customer service expecially big guy and one old lady in the til
We visited Asda cafe this morning it’s was great quality in food we had breakfast really good and specially kids pancakes she absolutely loved it.. thank you for whole team who made our Meal. We want to say thank you very much.. Ice cream van was in perfect place
Typical inhuman Asda. Not a huge range of stock, take it or leave it attitude to most items, when in years gone by there were alternatives offered from which to choose. Obvious wish by the owners for customers to serve themselves, checkout by themselves, and get out. Staff were fairly obviously a bit overworked. Looks like a store desperate on only one thing - their profits!
I visit this store every now and then to pick up the odd few items , but today I visited and you’ve got a queue going half way up the supermarket. When I first walked in maybe 7 or 8 people were stood where the trolleys and baskets are supposed to be looking for trolleys and baskets On asking the staff at the customer service counter, one lady walked off saying she was going to look for some she never returned One other staff member was just stood looking at her phone, the customer service is terrible. Judging by the amount of reviews with similar complaints, it more than likely won’t be rectified any time soon. It’ll be an apology and a promise to change things etc, but till just carry on.
Well laid out all the Isle well signposted made it easy to find what you wanted
