This has to be the worst Asda I've ever been to. Very run down and the meal deal is more like a kick in the pants than a deal. A quid more than Morrisons's or Sainsbury's. I also struggled to understand the girl on the customer service till because she was really quiet and didn't have a clear voice. Probably the last person you want on a customer service desk. Only positive was the food was okay.
Standard Asda, George inside the entrance, good range of things. Plenty of parking, but the car park is very winding so it feels like you're meeting yourself coming back when you go in also for whatever reason the entrance and exit feel like they are in an odd place!
I have been using Accrington asda for many years, and the last 12 months it as gone rapidly down hill, so many items with no prices on, so many empty shelves. The store always looks like it needs a deep clean.nThe toilets last time I used was disgusting, at least 2 off them didn't even have a toilet seat on them, so many times I have used them and not one piece of toilet roll in them.nIf I lived near to Rawtenstall that is where I would shop, so much cleaner and always well stocked
Gone rapidly downhill. Tried to get a refund on jeans which were falling to bits after 2 months. Computer said no. Rang the customer service line who promised a return call to discuss the matter. Still waiting.....
What a dump this place has become over the last ten years or so. It's basically like the UK - nothing works properly! It just seems so untidy and disorganised. Staff on the shop floor move around like zombies and all look so scruffy, wearing tracksuit bottoms and jeans and woolly hats, some also have bad body odour - obviously have no pride in themselves. Shelves get absolutely blitzed with empty boxes left behind, leading to generally poor availability of lots of items. Also absolutely hate those new fridges with the doors. Management stand around in groups doing lots of pointing and talking. Could be so much better than what it is.
