Popped in here for a drink and was very pleasantly surprised. Very friendly bar staff who were helpful and talkative. This is a bit of a hidden gem that probably deserves more attention than it gets. It does great guest beers as well as the usual mainstream draughts. I didn't try the food but may return at a later date. It may not be a 'go to destination' but I think it's worth a diversion for a nice drink
Had a brilliant evening Sat. My great grandkids loved the pantomime. Mia 9 wants to join the theatre group, loved the dancers wanted to join in. We were in the front row. Great atmosphere. Loved the chase around South Shields X

Lovely place to enjoy a variety of theatre options. Great atmosphere and staff were friendly and efficient. Good bar too. 5
This week's movie was The Queen. Cheap tickets, comfy seats, thoroughly enjoyable. They have a lovely tea room too.....
Lovely outside area. Sat under a large canopy, having a coffee with my sisters, while the summer rain pounded the ground around us. Great atmosphere.

Lovely atmosphere, good music, real ales and ciders
This is my go to place for a Chicken and halloumi pita Gyros. As good as anywhere in Greece. Guest ales usually good and the staff are top notch. Atmosphere is so relaxed, all the family love it. Only negative is its a bit more expensive but welll worth the extra cost in my opinion.
Nice place, good beer, need to try the food soon
